Imagine playing Rouge, getting Kun off Swashburglar or like...
Play it, then Gang Up, then card draw, getting it again...
That kitty gonna die!
But.. that's a rat
could be completely rediculous
to me it seems this card means if you're ahead solidify it by being more ahead in tempo. and if your behind gain 10 armor.
The idea of refreshing your mana makes me think that this card doesn't give 10 mana all the time.
Instead i feel that this mechanic only replaces the mana you have already spent so the Aviana combo might be just returning one mana instead.
I would like to think it would give 10 mana all the time but if you look at a card like innervate it says gain 2 mana crystals and not refresh 2 mana crystals.
It doesn't say "Refresh" because it's different from "Gain" Refresh means to refill the empty mana crystals you have. Gaining mana crystals with innervate surpasses the manna crystals you have. For example, on turn 8, your mana says 8/8 when unspent. When you use innervate, it says 10/8. Playing Wisp Jesus will spend all 10 mana crystals, making it 0/8. But after the choose one, it refills it back up to 8/8. The innervate doesn't count since it doesn't leave empty mana crystals.
7/7 at 0 mana cost, IF you have 10 mana!
7/7 for 4 mana IF YOU HAVE 4 MANA. SAME THING!!! Flamewreathed Faceless
No. Not the same thing. You play Flamewreathed Faceless, and you don't get any of the mana you spent refunded to it. In fact, you technically lose 2 mana temporarily.
Not the same thing not even by a far shot.. Flamewreathed Faceless can be coined out turn 3, while this one is late game only.. Strictly worse card than Flamewreathed Faceless.
This card serves almost exactly the same purpose as Arcane Giant: Provide a massive tempo swing in the late game by putting a large minion on the board for very little cost. It's very slightly worse than Arcane Giant in the popular spell-based Druid because with this card, you're always forced to wait until turn 10, which makes it hard to play this card against tempo-y decks. However, I expect this card to see play regardless as essentially a third copy of Arcane Giant for added consistency.
Or crazy Aviana combos.
It is like that. It's versatility is the interesting part. The choose 1 does two very different things.
My Entomb and shadow world death are ready!
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I think I've got an idea.
When you play Innervate, you are getting Mana Crystals that ARE there, but you will lose them at the end of your turn. If you were to play Innervate into Kun the Forgotten King, it's likely the Innervate-d mana crystals would also be refreshed along with the mana crystals you already had, as the extra empty mana crystals are still on your mana bar.
THIS THING IS DARN BALANCED, DON´T LOOK AT NOTHING BELOW THIS COMMENT
Flamewreathed Faceless cries in the corner.
Yes. Ever since Dr. Boom was a thing.
OK, so this guy looks really slow, and to an extent, he is. However, picture him in a C'thun deck. Those decks are DESIGNED to get you to turn 10. Who could say no to a free 7/7 tacked on to your endgame c'thun?! even if the opponent polymorphs the c'thun, you'll still have a backup just in case! Honestly, this guy has a LOT of potential.
