I had an 85% win rate with this deck up to rank 10 or so.
First of all, Face Hunter is a really tough matchup. You want to find your Voidwalkers and Defenders of Argus to get taunts in place. Haunted Creeper is also good. You'll probably want to clear his minions, though sometimes it's better to race if you got off to a really fast start (if he's the one trading, that's usually good for you). Try not to let explosive trap get too much value, and use it to your advantage if possible (by throwing down a Nerubian Egg before proccing it, which will activate the egg for free). You may even want to use Power Overwhelming on an Egg and just hit face (especially if you can also eat the Egg with a Void Terror, which will put a huge minion on the board that he may not be able to handle). Be mindful of how much burst the hunter can do on a given turn, and try not to get in range of that unless you just have to go all in and hope he doesn't have his Kill Commands and the like. If you can get Mal'Ganis for free off a Voidcaller, he may be able to save you.
As for the mirror, in general, you want to control the board and sneak in extra face damage where appropriate (i.e. when you think he'll do the trade for you). But you need the board. Yesterday, I played a game against the mirror in which he got a faster start and seemingly better draws (topdecking Doomguard on an empty hand, etc.) But even though I was down to a low life total, I was eventually able to wrest control of the board from him and then just clear his threats each turn until I won (it's hard for Zoo to burst for more than 5 with no board). There's not much you can do about Hellfire, as most Zoo decks don't run it. To be honest, I wouldn't feel too bad about losing either of these games. And two games isn't really enough time to get the feel of the deck. Keep playing it, and it should get better.
Any replacement for Sea Giant? Oddly have Mal'Ganis , but not the dust for a giant.
I would recommend either Loatheb or a second Void Terror.
What can I sub malganis with? :)
Nothing. Mal'Ganis is mandatory for every Demon deck.
The deck can still function without Mal'Ganis. He will make the deck better to be sure, but I don't think he's required, as there are still enough demons (particularly the Doomguards and Imp Gang Bosses) to make Voidcallers worth running. As for what to put in his place, you can go with a second Dire Wolf Alpha, Sea Giant or Void Terror. Or you can just throw Loatheb in there. That would be my preference, as that was what I was doing until I crafted Mal'Ganis (my list is identical to this one). Loatheb may not be as good as he was in other metas, but he's still a solid body, and there are still enough spells out there to make his effect relevant.
Alright I'll try the cards u suggested, thanks for the advice! :)
