Cut Brann Bronzebeardand a Faceless Summoner for 2x Beckoner of Evil to provide faster early/tempo game and to ensure Twin Emperor can be played. Also provides a stronger build up to C'thun without removing spells.
Thx mate. I jumped form rank 10-7 today in no time flat. I think that adding in a mirror image is really good for this decks counter weapon classes. I also think that antonidas was a better addition than twin emporer since it gives you another win condition if you don't draw cthun quick enough
That's true, I actually am playing the list without Twin Emperor as I believe the deck has so many answers already. I actually subbed him for a Conjurer.
I also subbed out Beckoner's for Brann again and a Twilight Flame caller as this deck can sometimes struggle with Aggro/totem shaman.
There are mountains of Battlecry in this deck, I cannot afford to not run him.
Forbidden Flame is bad and Beckoner of Evil is overkill imo (for both 2-drops and C'Thun buffs). Not sure about Cabalist's Tome also (this is not a Yogg deck).
I'd play a second
Dr6Faceless Summoner (such value), a second Arcane Intellect and some Mirror Image (for Cult Sorcerer, Mana Wyrm and Flamewaker synergy) / and maybe 1 Ethereal Conjurer.I am running a Ethereal Conjurer, removed the [card]Beckoner of Evil[/card] for Brann Bronzebeard/Twilight Flamecaller. I am not personally running Forbidden Flame atm because I didn't unpack it. I can see it being useful to remove minions with the Cult Sorcerer (+1 spell damage is so handy).
Faceless Summoner is great however, I think it's too slow to run x2. You can sub in another Arcane Intellect and Mirror Image if you like.
Cabalist's Tome gives sustain and supports your Azure Drake (damage spells drawn), Mana Wyrm, Flamewaker and of course Cult Sorcerer. The biggest thing I believe tempo struggles with is late game sustain, as you can often find times of top-decking.
