NEW VERSION OF THE DECK HERE: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/575598-renzoth-jacksteed-2-0
This deck combines Reno Jackson, Dreadsteed, and N'Zoth, the Corruptor into a powerful lategame control deck.
Dreadsteed is the only deathrattle card in the deck aside from Sylvanas (whose value out of N'Zoth is worth having one less dreadsteed and gives you a fallback option to get value out of N'Zoth should your dreadsteeds be transformed or cabaled), and is a 2-of (make sure at least one has been drawn before playing Reno). The purpose here is that you can trade with the dreadsteed and trigger its deathrattle multiple times, allowing N'Zoth to clone it up to 6 times.
Man this deck just ripped me a new asshole! need to craft it. as a warlock main i just stood there in awe while this guy dropped the N'zoth and res'ed all the dread steeds! soo good!
Really like this idea, and kudos for for putting together a workable deck with it.
After playing it out a few times, the main issue I have with the deck is that there doesn't seem to be much card synergy with the Dreadsteeds.
What about cards like Sacrificial Pact for a decent zero mana heal? Or a bunch of synergising buff cards to increase Dreadsteed damage, like Power Overwhelming or Demon fire?
Other cards to increase damage from a board full of Dreadsteeds could work too, like Dire Wolf Alpha or Raid Leader.
Just feel that a board full of 1-1 Dreadsteeds after turn 10 needs some extra beef to round up most games is all.
What do you think?
Sac Pact is good if you feel you need that extra pinch of heal, though I personally included a number of heals already that also produce bodies.
Dire Wolf (and Knife Juggler for that matter) are good to include and can put on a decent attempt to bluff zoo as well, but they have extremely limited value once N'Zoth is played because that 7th slot needs to be taken up on a taunt or a decent body (which is why I include both Psych-o-tron and Sunwalker). Unlike Darkshire Councilman and Dark Peddler, they do not get swapped out by Renounce Darkness. If you want to include more neutral cards in the deck, I would recommend swapping out Renounce for Elise. Another option if you're so inclined is Defender of Argus (espeically if you're going for more of a zoo flavor), which does retain value after N'Zoth is played..
There are some cards in there that synergize with the steeds. Darkshire Councilman gains 1 attack every time a dreadsteed trades. Power Overwhelming -> attack -> Void Terror gives you good value as well. PO -> Shadowflame is an impromptu flamestrike for cheaper.
As for how the board of Steeds fares at turn 10, surprisingly well as long as you haven't blown all your removal yet. Getting 6 free damage split almost any way you want EVERY TURN is massive. If I can get N'Zoth down and I'm not behind a significant amount of health, I win 95% of the time (the remaining 5% being OTK). It's getting to that win condition that's the hard part. Just note that you're sacrificing nearly all tempo on your N'Zoth turn for extra gains down the line, so playing N'Zoth when your opponent has set up lethal is a bad idea.
Now that I've had a chance to sit down and look through your ideas, I have come up with a new deck that has much more Dreadsteed synergy based on your suggestions:

Appreciate the helpful and detailed reply.
Perhaps I need to play more than just a handful of games with this deck to really get some of those synergies going properly.
I didn't mean to imply there were none at all, just the few times I made it to the late game the Dreadsteed army just felt a little underwhelming is all.
I've noticed your post below with a link to a new deck, so I'll definitely give that one a go too.
Thanks for the great reply, and kudos once again for a fun and interesting deck.
My first game, dreadsteed out, killed it several times, also Sylvannas. N´zoth comes out, board full.
priest kills me, because I was unable to get rid of any of my minions (thanks dreadsteeds), to play Reno.
In each case, it was fun to lose.
Yeah generally priest is the weakest matchup (they like to cabal your steeds and burst you down if theyre c'thun priest)
If you think opponent is going to threaten lethal, better to get off reno instead of n'zoth (combo with shadowflame and it's an impromptu flamestrike). Or if you think you can stabilize for one turn, use shadowflame on your n'zoth
So this might have been a misclick. Did you mean to have two dreadsteeds? Reno wont work with 2. Kinda makes him pointless.
You have to draw one before Reno will activate, yes. But Reno only counts cards that haven't been drawn yet.
Very often you have drawn already one dreadsteed when you need to use Reno. But if you need to use Reno too early, the match is possibly lost already.
How do you like Cult Apothecary. Is he any good?
He's great when you're trying to hold on vs zoo, which this deck struggles with.
Lost the first time but everything else has been a spectacular win! Thanks!
