Check out the updated list with the new Un'Goro cards!
Play like zoo. Make good trades and go face.
You have to plan out your mulligan and early turns VERY CAREFULLY.
The key here is killing your opponent early minions and if possible keep your murlocs alive. So cards like Coldlight Seer are very important. They can keep your murlocs out of AOE range or alive when you trade. Keeping your murlocs alive is very important, so always trade first to not let your opponent make good trades. Divine shield mechanic also works very well helping to keep your murlocs alive, even a 1/1 murloc with divine shield can be game winning.
SMOrc most of the time doesn't work well here.
This deck can be bad depending of the meta. But you can win almost any matchup.
Legend on NA in one night:
maybe you should actually update the deck list with the new cards....
nice
one less card draw murloc and +1 2dmg all non murloc card added
I switched 1 Sea Giant for Blood Knight Ive' found even absorbing 1 diving shield and making him 6/6 can win the early board
What say you about Questing Adventurer and Knife Juggler in this deck?
I don't think these 2 cards would work well with this deck.
Why Coldlight Oracle? I ask because of the free gift of two cards it gives your opponent, isn't there another card that might be a bit better?
It's a fast card draw mechanic and you will use the card advantage but your opponent probably not, because they can't use as many cards as you in one turn. Besides that you draw more cards from Divine Favor.
It's not card advantage, it's just card drawing. It's actually 3-for-3 card parity. Assets: you draw 2 cards and get a 2/2 minion. Liabilities: the opponent draws 2 cards and you expended a card in hand.
UPDATE 05/10/16
I have now play around 40 games with this deck and I have won maybe 6 games. The statement that says this deck is consistently inconsistent holds true. I find:
1. There are too many weak murlocs for this deck. When I do pull Anyfin I get a bunch of 1/1 murlocs instead of murloc warleaders.
2. This deck gets defeated extremely fast if you don't get exactly the right cards when you need them.
I played two quick games with this deck and it kicks ass. I was missing a couple of cards so I subbed some out but that didn't make a difference. The first one I won by turn 4. The second was control c'thun warrior so it lasted pretty much the entire deck but he never hit me once. He had to defend, defend defend because I kept filling up the board with murlocs so fast. While he was defending I was hitting face.
The anyfin can happen worked but there were so many murlocs that died I ended up with a bunch of mismatched murlocs with no warleader and no gill murloc. Still an easy win though. There were so many murlocs so quickly that I took out his taunts with ease.
I have not tried this on the ladder yet but I will after seeing how it handled in those games.
It's true about the ass kicking, you can get a lot of buffed murlocs out there in a hurry with the right draw. There are some efficient counter decks but they can get overwhelmed too
Is Anyfin Can Happen even worth it's slot? If it's turn 10, you've probably lost with this deck.
I've got a slight variant without the League of Explorer cards, and getting about 1:1 ratio
You really have to curve well with this deck. When playing with murlocs the key is making a board that can get buffed.
Any room for black knight?
I don't think so.
I am playing a similar deck right now. My draw is slow, so working on fixing it. Also batting around the idea of a secrets murlocadin instead of divine.. Mulligan is important though. I've won like 10 games, 4 ranked, 6 casual and haven't got the divine shield combo yet... lol
Leeroy Jenkins is only good on face decks. This deck plays more controlling the board until it's out of control. Sir Finley Mrrgglton is not good because you always want the murloc heropower.
Druid without swipe or very good innervates don't stand a chance. The real problem of this deck are warrios (so many whirlwind effects) and rogues (nzoth paladins also, so many board clears). After shaman became more midrange it's a little worse now, face shamans was very easy. Right now I'm not playing this on ladder. If ladder becames more C'thun decks like 2 days ago it would be good again.
How are you killing the big taunt minions?! C'Thun decks? Seriously... Can't peel a single monster minion with this deck.
Murlocs gets buffed very easy. And you have a weapon and maybe divine shields to make free trades.
Besides that, taunts on this meta are slow and not so efficienty like Belcher. If you can't kill the taunt most of the times it's because you're behind in the game (already losing) or you have very bad draws. Drawing Grimscale Oracle or Murloc Warleader is very important.
