Update 19.05.16 - Hello again! I have for you another update, with some new cards in deck!  I've been very busy in last days, and I want to apologize that couldn't answer all your questions in comments. I made this changes to boost performance vs control matchups, trying to keep aggro matchups even. It's seems to work very well. Ranked up from 6 to 3rank in few hours.

Update 06.05.16 - Hello again guys. Another update here. I've been very busy last days since I was preaparing for the tournament which took place yesterday. Thats why I didnt wrote guide yet. So next change I made is swap -Big Game Hunter for +Raven Idol also added more tech choices and mulligans. Guide is comming soon.

Update 01.05.16 - So new season started, it's time to climb ladder again. After taking into considerations your comments I made a few teaks in my deck: -Ancient of War, -Faceless Manipulator for +2 Mark of Y'Shaarj. Currently I'm on 15W-2L record. (Started using Decktracker from 2-0). The Tech cards choices was updated.decktracker

Update 30.04.16 - After playing a few games more I managed to rank-up to RANK 4 with decent winratio of 70%. I exchanged -2 Wild Growth for +2 Darnassus Aspirant. This swap helps a lot versus aggro matchups and makes deck more consistent. I would like to thank for your upvotes, I didn't expect that many. The Tech cards choices was added below.

Introduction:

Hello guys,

First of all I want to let you know that this is my first DeckPost/Guide ever. So please if you have any suggestion, let me know.

Something about me: I'm a former semi-pro player from Poland and Hearthstone ESL Admin. I reached legend a few times and my highest rank was top200.

After realese Whispers of the Old Gods and opening 13free packs, I've got my first legendary -Fandral Staghelm and i decided to build deck around this card.

In first day of playing i rank-up form RANK 15(0stars) to RANK 7(4stars) with quite good result of 22wins - 2loses, I will try to play with it more and chceck if trend will continue.

 Tech card choises:

- Bloodmage Thalnos - With Ancient of Lore being nerfed, Midrange Druid had to find some new way to draw cards. Bloodmage Thalnos is a strong "Utility" card which provide us with draw and spell damage. Despite weak stats it's a fine body to bait oponents hero power and gain some tempo. With many new 5 and 6 HP minions an extra 1dmg from Swipe, Wrath or Living Roots can easily win game.

Replacment: second Druid of the Saber or second Power of the Wild

- Big Game Hunter - It's a directly answer to C'Thun decks. The reasoning behind this choice is to give ourself chance to win if we were unable to do it before our opponent played big C'Thun.

Replacment: second Raven Idol - Very versatile card, especialy with Fandral Staghelm. It also give us a chance to pick a removal spell like Naturalize or Mulch so it could work similary to BGH.

- Nourish - Very strong draw card and with Fandral Staghelm it's only for 3mana. It's very helpful in lategame scenario when you are running out of steam.

- Darnassus Aspirant - In my opinion this card fits very well in Mindrange type of Druid. It's very helpful in aggro matchups and if opponent is unable to clear it right away you're almost always able to play 4/5 drop next turn.

Replacment: Since this deck in struggles mostly against Control Pally/Warrior and Hyper Aggro Shaman, you can consider puting one Acid Swamp Ooze and Mulch to be able to deal with big threats.

Mulligans:

VS AGGRO: Going first you should allways fish for Living Roots, 2drop and if you already have it, you could try find Wrath to deal with early threats. Another good starting hand is Living RootsInnervate into 4drop. Sometimes if you facing midrange decks you can keep Mounted Raptor.

If you have coin you always should go for, Innervate into 4drop into 2drop in 2nd turn. The dream is Coin + InnervateViolet Teacher and next turn, Raven Idol or Wrath or Living Roots

VS CONTROL: You need a strong start, Try to look for early Darnassus Aspirant to accelerate your game. You can also go for  Druid of the SaberMark of Y'Shaarj. The combo with 4drop in 1turn is also good start.
