Introduction
Hey guys, my name is Devva. I just reached legend this season on EU server with this miracle list and I wanted to share it. I only played this exact deck from rank 3 to Legend with no changes. (s25)
I basically play rogue only for almost 3 years now. I started climbing late this season because I had to take a break. Last meta was boring and a bit cancerous for my taste so I was really excited with this expansion coming out.
Few thoughts
Like all miracles this deck is not easy to play and requires lots of time to master but I definitely recommend the journey because this archetype is amazing. On top of that, variants without charge/Malygos are even harder in my opinion so it might take time for you to get used to it if you never played a deck like this before.
I played a very similar deck to this after Leeroy Jenkins was nerfed and I loved it so I'm really happy it works well now aswell.
Stats/proof (Screenshots were made when I reached legend in s25 after WotoG released)
My experiences during climb
I was actually really surpised how fast this deck is for climbing in this meta. As you can see the average game length was 6.8 minutes / 8.9 turns which is close to facedeck level. Trying to close out the game before turn 10 is really crucial in this meta because of C'Thun that is why I prefer this faster version of miracle rogue over Malygos at the moment.
I'd consider Zoo, Face Shaman and Beast Druid to be the worst matchups eventhough the deck was working well vs them during my climb. I'm quiet sure the winrate would go lower vs these decks in with more matches played.
I might change a few things in the future but I had so much success I didn't risk it during the climb.
Possible changes
-1 Conceal +1 Violet Teacher/Shadow Strike maybe a few more
I really like double Conceal now and mostly this is the win condition. Generally you want to use it when you play Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Next turn you cycle a lot and deal lots of damage with Cold Blood while developing one or two more minions, possibly a big Edwin VanCleef or a full board with Violet Teacher. If you draw into second Conceal or if you happen to get a Fadeleaf Toxin from Xaril, Poisoned Mind you just won the game right there.
Note that there are very few combos / cards in the game in Standard mode which can kill a stealthed Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Loatheb is gone.
The only case I'd replace one Conceal with Violet Teacher if I'd face too many zoo type decks.
I'm definitely going to experiment a lot more in legend and of course in the future seasons.
Mulligan
I'm planning to make a detailed mulligan guide but right now there are too many different archetypes in each class so it's hard to tell what deck you're playing againts at the start of the game. Later people will start using the most powerful ones so it'll be easier for us to mulligan. Basic tips below:
General
I recommend mulliganing for Backstab SI:7 Agent Earthen Ring Farseer and maybe Preparation againts most decks.
Faster matchups
If you get Sap/Eviscerate vs Shaman don't throw them away and keep Fan of Knives vs Zoo and aggro Paladin. Also keep Eviscerate vs tempo mage if you have The Coin.
Keep Bloodmage Thalnos + Backstab
Edwin VanCleef + The Coin is considerable againts all of the above.
Slower matchups
Mulligan for Tomb Pillager/Azure Drake vs Warrior/Priest and you can even keep Gadgetzan Auctioneer if you have okay cards next to him. Againts Priest always keep SI:7 Agent+Backstab if you have it. You can easily lose vs dragon priest with bad hand.
If it seems you can make a big Edwin VanCleef vs Freeze mage keep him.
Hmm, it actually ended up somewhat detailed. I hope it helps! :) Maybe mulligans againts each deck later.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Very nice deck ! I am currently 5-2 but my two losses (druid and mage c'thun) are because I did not draw the auctioneer soon enough... But I is very enjoyable playing this kind of deck ! Thanks !
+2 [card]Shadow Strike[/card] will help you survive
Currently 16-8 ! Still very fun to play ! Without any changes.
Sub for Edwin? I don't have the dust for him.
A Questing Adventurer works very well, if you can conceal him its even better
Apologies for the total noob question but what app captures & provides the stats?
Complete noob here, but loving your deck even up in the rank 15s.
I know this is asked in a lot of decks, but I don't have Bloodmage Thalnos, and I was wondering whether Loot Hoarder would be better for the draw or Kobold for the spell power (or whether you'd just sub it out for a different minion all together). Great deck though, loving it!
Can you tell us the mulligans against each class? :D thanks
Having a good experience with this list. C'thun decks are very easy to beat. Have you considered playing Southsea Deckhand to have an extra way to push burst after clears?
