Ahoy Matey,
So in the last days of the season I used this little Pirate Aggro Warrior to climb a bit into the decent legend ranks, it might not be the best, but it was enough for reaching rank 328 EU on the last day (http://imgur.com/Vld05r9). New season after the first day (30 wins) at rank 9, struggled a bit against Zoos (if they have Defender of Argus), and other Warriors are prbly a 50/50 match up. But the deck is insane against Priest and other Face decks. Might make the legend climb this season with this deck
The new pirate girl basically carries the deck by her own, the nice thing of the deck is that it can either be played as full face deck, or have explosive turns, where you just play two Corsairs with a huge Bloodsail Raider on board.
Small Mulligan Guide (in my opinion)
1. Always throw away (14 cards)
Heroic Strike, Bash, Arathi Weaponsmith, Mortal Strike, Arcanite Reaper, Gorehowl, Coldlight Oracle, Kor'kron Elite
2. Always keep (7 cards)
N'Zoth's First Mate (keep only one), Fiery War Axe, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Bloodsail Raider
3. Situational keep (9 cards)
Upgrade keep if you have N'Zoth's First Mate or War Axe
Abusive Sergeant Keep if you have N'Zoth's First Mate or if you go against a class which has problems to deal with him
Southsea Deckhand Might keep like abusive plus if you have War Axe
Dread Corsair Keep with War Axe
Bloodsail Cultist If you have a War Axe/N'Zoth and a cheap pirate can be a gready keep
Deck Changes
- Greenskin and Worgen + 2 Upgrades
What card should I replace for worgen? (I have already replaced Abusive Sergeant and Sir Finley
well its good deck just need to play 4 or 5 games to understand the point of the deck RECOMMENDED
i put Malkorok and i've seen some very positive result and i also put Frothing Berserker i've also seen very good and it can give some very big damage. what do you think about that ?
This clearly should be called: Arrrrrgro Warrior
this deck has absolutely 0 answers to taunts and gets destroyed by it
Just tried this deck, my first opponent was a C'Thun Priest, he got completely and utterly CRUSHED.
Nice Deck, I will test this too, because I Love 3 things at most in Hearthstone: Warriors, Weapons and Pirates! *Yarr*
What do you think about dropping 2x Heroic Strike and 1x Arathi Weaponsmith in trade for 2x Charge and Brann Bronzebeard?
In Combination with Charge I use often Magnataur Alpha as a Siegebreaker for Decks with many Spotters, or when I see 3 Targets together I dont like much.
Hi, man! What can i use instead 2 upgrades and 1 bush, or it is the ,ain cards?
How does this do against Zoolock? I'm seeing more of this deck than anything right now.
Feels like if my opponent isnt dead by turn 7 I should just concede because there's no coming back
what did you swap out?
Such a fun deck, surprisingly consistent so far.
If I wanted to fit Malkorok in the deck, what would you cut?
What fo you think about Arathi Weaponsmith?
There's too many weapons. You often have to avoid playing a creature (Arathi Weaponsmith, N'Zoth's First Mate) just to prevent weapon override.
You only have three minions in the deck that spawn a weapon, and 4 of your 5 weapon cards have 2 durability. It's not that hard to avoid those situations if you plan even a little bit and attack every turn. Don't upgrade a weak weapon if it doesn't help you make a better trade (almost never upgrade a hook unless you need that +1 damage to kill something, you often don't want a 2 attack weapon sticking around that long). Don't be afraid to 'waste' a swing on a mediocre weapon to get one of your big weapons in play, especially if it helps you kill something or sets up lethal next turn. Never hesitate to replace a hook. It's also fine to swing and then drop a new weapon that you can't use right away if you decide that extracting value from the old one is better than getting a bit more face damage in right now, but in many cases it's better to ditch a 2/1 or even a 3/1 weapon for an Arcanite and get that extra 2-3 damage right away. The main time you'd want to get full value out of the weaker weapon instead is against a control deck with lots of healing or armor, or more generally any time you expect to run out of cards in hand well before you have lethal.
I've always enjoyed Control far more than Aggro. I tended to use Aggro to quickly get to rank 10, I'd feel dirty or bored the whole time. Then thankful once I hit it since I could go back to Control. But so far this deck has made me feel like I'm playing a control aggro deck. Thanks so much for making it Robinette42!
Thanks man !
This is probably the best aggro pirate deck around ! I used it for the 3 wins warrior quest and went into winstreak :P
I was thinking that the coldlight oracle would be more of a downside than an upside, but it saved me in the last match when i ran out of cards :)
The damages provided by this deck in the first 3-4 turns are simply insane !
I feel like Arathi is usually a dead card and gorehowl is too slow, so I'm thinking of swapping them for abusive sergeant and leeroy jenkins
The fact that it costs 2 mana less and is a minion makes leeroy better already. Often, you will already have a weapon equipped.
