so i played this deck in april to get to top 100 legend and finished as 69th on the EU server.

This deck runs Wrathguard which differs from most other Zoo-decks.

The Wrathguard is an aggressive 2-drop, which was not played alot before standard, but the 4/3 stats are rly strong. If you are in a mirror match and play the Wrathguard in a favourable board state your opponent has a hard time to come back, Normally he would want to play the Imp Gang Boss and this is something which the Wrathguard denies. If your opponent doesn't have a one drop in the mirror match you could coin the wrathguard out, because basically every two drop nowadays (Knife JugglerDark Peddler) gets killed by it and still your minion survives.

So why was this card not played before?
In the past there were cards like Nerubian Egg, Haunted Creeper and Imp-losion. So the 2-drop was stacked and in the mirror it didn't feel too good to play a wrathguard vs these and on an open board the opponent could still implosion it.

Does the Wrathguard gets punished?
In the most Matchups only the current board state matters your lifepool does not. So with two Flame Imp and  Wrathguard you will drop a bit faster but also vs the aggressive decks it is important to dish out more damage. There is the possibility that the Wrathguard getting shield slammed for a huge amount vs a warror, but if your opponent has so much armor you are already in a pinch and the aggressive 2-drop helps also preventing the armor stacking up too much. Lots of "Tempo" Warrior don't even run Shield Slam.

Card Replacements:
Leeroy Jenkins would be best replaced with Doomguard. It changes the playstyle quite a bit with leeroy you might end up stacking the Power Overwhelming in your hand and with Doomguard in hand you want to use the Power Overwhelming beforehand. Doomguard helps more controlling the board by just playing it.

Brann Bronzebeard is difficult to replace, because all other cards doing something else. I would add a 2nd Sea Giant or Gormok the Impaler.

Other card options:
Ironbeak Owl: Well it is 3 Mana and you could also use Spellbreaker as an option. If you happen to encounter lots of deathrattles you could add a silence to the deck, but at this moment it is no more necessary, because it there are no more Nerubian Egg and it is a weak card in the mirror match instead of a strong one.
2nd Sea Giant: It depends on the meta, if there are a lot of token decks you could use a 2nd one. It is difficult to play a giant after something like an Forbidden Ritual, because you have no mana left and the opponent would need to have at least 4 minions on board with 6 of your own to have a free giant. So the 2nd giant is a bit clunky.
The Black Knight: Could do some work from time to time, but currently I think there are played too few taunts.
Gormok the Impaler: This card feels so much like a win more / loose more card. Without the effect it is weak, you can never play it in the same turn after an Forbidden Ritual, so it has less synergy with the Ritual then with the Imp-losion beforehand.
