Season 25/26 Legend Mid Range Hunter!
Update: Now that I have got Legend rank this season with the deck I will actually put up a guide and stuff once I figure out how I want to do it.
Ok... I want to try this, but I don't get when to play the doomsayers.
you play them like turn 2 or so vs shaman and zoo to kill their shit and deny them from playing more stuff the next turn, you can also use them other ways like if you already have minions on the board but they play something big and you want a soft 0/7 taunt. Sometimes they will still go face also and if you have more stuff in hand you can play it and keep tempo on board and win.
Maybe replace one tundra rhino with Harrison Jones ?
Interesting adding the Doomsayers, I will try that out.
And hey, you're almost up to 200 upvotes, isn't it time for a mulligan guide? :-)
Another kodo, ram wrangler or maybe on the hunt?
Holy crap, Doomsayer in a Midrange Hunter deck. BRILLIANT!
Had the 2 hunter win quest, dropped it turn 2 against Zoo and easily won, and dropped in turn 3 against Midrange Shaman and easily won!
I really like this list, though I substituted 1 Tundra Rhino for a Ram Wrangler. I read in a similar Hunter Deck guide that 80% of the beasts are ok or better and can help swing you the game.
I also switched Flame Juggler for Huge Toad, I think the two are comparable (I will agree that Flame Juggler is slightly better), but I like the beast synergy in Hunter.
For me and all of my experimentation with ram wrangler it just feels so slow and makes me so mad when I constantly get captain's parot and jewel scarab but yea the guide is probably right. Also I think Huge Toad is better I just don't have it, flame juggler is better in some situations but im mainly just using it cause I cbf to save my gold for more then a day before I buy a pack and get 40 dust.
I made the Ram Wrangler swap too. I think the 5-slot is the most flexible in the deck, with Rhino, Kodo, Wrangler and Huhuran (and possibly even Stranglethorn Tiger?).
Guide pls
Control board, play stuff on curve, mulligan for freeze trap vs rogue and shaman and win!
how can i replace one call of the wild and one infested wolf
2 angry chickens
legit
replacement for Call of the Wild?
There isn't one.
It's the only card that is making Midrange Hunter even slightly viable at the moment. It is very very strong, if you plan on playing Hunter at all over the next two years I'd recommend crafting them.
okey tanx
Yeah I just disenchanted my golden fel reaver to make it, and it's a freaking killer =)
Yea she is mostly just a 5 mana 6/5 and I don't really run her anymore since I have been trying out kodo and other stuff. Kodo does seem quite good if you want to run him, im trying it out and it is so rewarding to kill a blood hoof brave with it vs tempo warrior or kill a imp gang boss or something when vsing zoo. I am considering taking a rhino or huhuran out for it on this list since it does seem to actually hit something when you drop it on 5 mana so often and is very impactful in the majority of matchups im vsing. I just love trashing tempo/patron warriors with it but havent played it enough yet to be sure.
Yea that is no doubt true if you are vsing slower decks but the decks im having trouble with atm are zoo and shaman which don't really give you the chance to get huhuran value or even really play her and huhuran isnt necessary to beat control so right now I feel like the higher win rate deck overall for me is best to just not run huhuran.
I do like Huhuran tho so it really just depends on what matchups you are losing to and finding that balance that gives you the best chance against the largest variety of matchups without having a negative impact on other matchups.
