Hey guys,

so whith the WoG I though that tempo mage could be really good, then I played some games (10-5) and have to say, that it is really strong indeed. It has good early game, good midgame and reasonable late. What's more, with Yogg-Saron, Hope's End it is so damn fun.

Always keep low-cost cards in your starting hand: Mana Wyrm,Frostbolt, Arcane Blast, Sorcerer's Apprentice andFlamewaker.

You can also keep Kirin Tor Mage if you have secret vs more control decks, because the tempo swing is huge.

So the early pretty much copies mulligan strategy,Mana Wyrm is the strongest 1-drop for mage and when coupled with removing spells like Arcane Blast orFrostbolt, you are good to go for win. Sorcerer's Apprentice is also very nice value card. PlayingFlamewaker can be tricky though, bcs vs certain decks, it is better to keep him safe, until you can play him with spells same turn (only play him turn 3, if you have nothing else to play or you are sure, that your opponent does not have removal).

Midgame is where you start to get to the value point (Yogg), Ethereal Conjurer and Faceless Summoner and Azure Drake bring very nice value (card draw, summoning minion). Archmage Antonidas andRhonin can win you game be themselves if played at right time, just make sure to play Archmage Antonidas with spells (on same turn ideally) and followRhonin withFlamewaker.

And finally Yogg-Saron, Hope's End: this guy is the true RNG-sus, because he can kill you straight away with 3Pyroblast to your face. But majority of times, he swings the game in your favour, either with clearing board or finishing your opponent.
