cant go under rank 10 with this deck
Really needs Blessing of Kings
This deck is pretty nice and once you gain the upper hand it's hard to lose but I am having problems:
If I go first and the opponent can't remove my minion on turn 1 then I can get some rhythm going and swarm them, but if they can just remove everything I play then I can't do anything and I just run out of steam.
I think I am playing it quite well; I trade when necessary and go face when I cannot make a good trade. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
It's a good deck. I added an equality to the deck and that helped it in late game but other than that the deck is awesome. It really punishes the slow control decks. The only deck I have a really rough time with is Mage; they always have an answer.
After about 50+ games
First of all, this deck can be a lot of fun. There are a handful of cute combos in this deck. Its the 6-Pool of Hearthstone BUT the game doesn't just slow down and wait for your Combos and because of that
I can assure everyone that this deck is not viable at all for the current META, one must realize that the only strategy behind this deck is to out Mulligan your opponent. Your draws must be astounding and your opponent has to completely bust for you to win.
To Elaborate
You either Win before 6 -7 Mana or you lose. That's how most games will go. Sure, you might win 1 or 2 prolonged games but not enough to even worth mentioning. You will never feel like you earned your wins more like your opponent just got a little unlucky.
This Deck is a "One Trick Pony" that requires a lot of dominoes for everything to fall through as a result it will always be 1 Top Deck away from losing the game because there is an unfathomable amount of answers to this Deck. Devastating answers that you can't come back from or preemptively play around such as:
Twin Emperor Vek'lor, Dark Arakkoa , Thing from Below, Bloodhoof Brave, Lightning Storm, Holy Nova, Swipe, Flamewreathed Faceless, Klaxxi Amber-Weaver, Ravaging Ghoul, Excavated Evil
There is wayyy more, soo much more - I only named a few and excluded all 8+ mana cards. Even a turn 1 Northshire Cleric is a HUGE chore for this deck.
SO my point, this deck is ideal if you're just trying to gather up quick games for the "Golden Paladin" but not if you're trying to efficiently climb the ladder.
Agreed.
I really wanted to love this deck because I find Murlocs hilarious, but I just can't.
It's too slow to win games quickly a la Face Hunter (prior to the WotOG patch, of course). But it doesn't have a lot of late game power either. If you are fortunate enough to flood the board early and get those buffs in, you can dominate--but getting there feels like it's based on RNG. I mean, if your opponent has any AoE wave clear, or even just cheap minions to trade with, then it's hard to establish this win condition.
I'm sure I don't play the deck nearly as well as Kripp does, but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable trying to climb the ladder with this deck. Just my two cents.
