Hello everyone. I would like to share with you a very unusual priest deck that I have easily reached legend this season with. First and foremost, this build is designed to win against every slow deck, while still being strong versus tempo and aggro. The only dead matchup is miracle rogue.

The basic idea of the deck is to abandon basic elements of the early game and draw potential of standard control priest (Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Wild Pyromancer, Injured Blademaster) in favor of additional value cards (Thoughtsteal, Museum Curator, Shifting Shade) and removals. The early game consists of Shadow Word: Pain and Doomsayer, one of the strongest 2-mana control drops in standard. Thus we get extremly powerful deck for a long distance, crushing any archetype in the late game, EVEN JARAXUS. Value potential of the cards is incredibly huge.

So, the reason why I decided to cut the Northshire Cleric ,Power Word: Shield, Wild Pyromancer and Injured Blademaster is very simple – they are not as reliably good as before. In current meta classic control priest tools often cannot find a good moment to be used. Another crucial point is we mostly don't want to use Circle of Healing for anything other than board clear.  Also all these cards don't work well with Excavated Evil which is as close to a decent AOE removal as we can get since priest loses Lightbomb.

Cleric - Nowadays aggro decks don't use 1hp 1mana drops like lepergnom or webspinners, instead of them are totem golems and troggs. Mainly the only way we draws cards with this card is combo pyro+circle, but if we give up circle that way, there is a solid chance that we will not be able to clear board in the future because priest doesn't have lightbombs anymore. Against control decks like pally or warrior we don't want to draw cards much, because most of time it will ends with fatigue war. Only versus zoo northshire cleric is pretty valuable.

Pyro- without cleric this card is much weaker and classic combo pyro+PWS+PWS is not as strong as before. Same situation - very strong card only versus zoo.

Injured Blademaster- That card is not very relyable and often requiers circle, which is very important for auchenau combo. Againts aggro it's really do nothing most of time.

Explanation for some cards:

Shadow Word: Pain – very strong removal in standard. It finds the target in every matchup: Totem Golem, Tunnel Trogg, Imp Gang Boss, Acolyte of Pain, Frothing Berserker, Bloodhoof Brave, Flamewalker , etc.

Doomsayer – very powerful as a response to 1-3 mana minions. Trades for 1-2 cards and gives a free turn.

Embrace the Shadow – extra activation of Circle combo. Also Can be used to burn opponent: Embrace the Shadow + Darkshire Alchemist + double Flash Heal is exaclty 15 damage! Now we can beat JARAXUS.

Darkshire Alchemist – flexible card.  Gives you an option to heal yourself or a minoin, has additional use as source of damage.

Harrison Jones – paladins, warriors, shamans, rogues are very popular at the moment, so it often will ensure a swing turn and give you card advantage.

Museum Curator, Shifting Shade – high value cards that have great synergy with N'Zoth, the Corruptor.

Thoughtsteal – classic card advatnage spell, generates an extra card. An excellent way to look for instruments to deal with opponent's threats that your deck doesn't have.

Justicar Trueheart – this card boosts your survival ability in mid-late game while also allowing for stronger impact when playing Auchenai Soulpriest or Embrace the Shadow.
