Update 22.05.2016 : Added a card explanation and a short guide (mulligan coming soon). Hope you enjoy it.

Hey !

This is my version of Fandral combo druid. I have just hit rank 5 with it (playing from rank 10).

I will post a guide if it gets some interest but you can already have a look on a perfect opening.

Well good luck and have fun playing it :)

Firstly, I just want to say that this is my first guide concerning Hearthstone decks and that I'm not a native English speaker. So please, don't hesitate do to remarks about it.

Card choice

Fandral Staghelm : The deck is mostly built around him as there are 13 cards you can combo with. I usually like to play him the same turn with other "choose" cards to fully taking advantage of its effect. Nevertheless it can also be played T4 for tempo as it's a 3-5 body and opponent will have to burn cards to remove it. I mean, you can't let it alive for more than a turn.

Innervate : Auto-include in most of druid decks. That's nothing much to say.

Living Roots : Really good card to play T1 against aggro (especially against zoo). It combos well with Azure Drake and with Violet Teacher for more board presence.

Raven Idol : Well it's the most RNG card in this deck. I put it in to play a little on curve as I didn't have a lot of T1 cards. I usually go for spells in early game. But it can give you a nice late game if you choose to pick a minion.

Druid of the Saber : Really good T2 to play, usually played in stealth mode to make effective trades T3. You can also consider playing it in charge mode to combo with Savage Roar for example.

Mark of Y'Shaarj : I still don't know how to prononce this name correctly, but it's awesome for this deck as card draw is crucial in every game. I mean there are 9 beast in the deck so you have like 30% chance to fully benefit from its effect. Note that you can use it on a non beast minion too for more  or to trade efficiently.

Power of the Wild : I choose to only run one copy of it as I already have plenty of T2 plays. Still, you usually never play it T2 and prefer to keep it and combo it with Violet Teacher. For example, play Violet Teacher , Innervate and Power of the Wild T6 will give you an excellent board presence.

Wrath : Same as Innervate , auto-include in every druid deck. It's good to have board presence but sometimes you don't really have a good opening so you have to remove opponent board somehow.

Druid of the Flame : I've barely seen someone play it before WOTOG, even it's there since BRM. But with the amount of 2-health minions people are playing atm, it helps you do very nice trades.

Mounted Raptor : This is mini Piloted Shredder imo. Play it T3 without any regrets as it can do efficient trades. It's also good against aoe as you still have some board presence left. Plus, it's a beast Mark of Y'Shaarj ftw.

Savage Roar : Hear me Roar ! This is the Lannisters' favorite card.

Savage Combatant : I really like this one. Ran also a copy of it in my double combo druid before. It's a great body for a T4 and helps you do efficient trades with your hero power. Also it's great to play him T6 in order to directly take advantage of your 3 attack hero power (and remove that Justicar Truehart for example).

Swipe : Auto-include in every druid deck too. When you don't get a good board, removing opponents board with aoe is the best solution. I prayed so many times RNGesus to topdeck Swipe.

Druid of the Claw : Best T5 druid card imo. Usually played in taunt mode to protect your board and even your hero. Still you can play it in charge mode with for nice trades or combo it with Savage Roar.

Nourish : Well this one could be a little weird at first as it's a 5 mana card and doesn't help you get board presence or remove opponent minions or even do face dmg. BUT as I said before, drawing cards is very important. Thus it can really help against control matchups. Still don't play it T5 if you don't have a board control.

Violet Teacher : This is the second card the deck is built around. There are 16 spells in the decks so it really helps get board presence.

Azure Drake : Draw more cards and gives some spell damage. Amazing to play it with Swipe.

Short Guide: As I said and as you guys asked, here is a short guide on how to play this deck.

This will sound a little weird, but you have to play it like a zoo deck. Get a real good board presence, do efficient trades in order to get more burst damage when going face   . Try to play on curve even if you have to spend the coin or Innervate to get board presence.

There are plenty of combos so I'll list the most important to be considered.

Fandral Staghelm with any of the choose card you have in the deck. Most efficient are Wrath which will do 4 dmg and lets you draw a card, Druid of the Flame for a 3 mana 5-5 minion and Druid of the Claw for a 5 mana 4-6 charge minion which will still have taunt and protect your face.

Violet Teacher with all the spells available. As show in the image above, I had 2 Innervate, 1 Violet Teacher, 1 Living Roots and the coin T1. It was the first time I ever had such an amazing opening.

Innervate and coin T1 will let you have amazing openings. It will sound maybe greedy, but It feels good to have a Violet Teacher or Fandral Staghelm T1 on board as the only card which can be played by the opponent to counter it, will be Doomsayer. But you have to take some risks sometimes in order to increase your probability of wining.

Mulligan: Note that you will learn how to better mulligan by playing a lot of games. This one provided here is more to help you if you're in doubt.

(Coming soon)

PS. I have exams soon so sorry in advance if I don't answer you every time but I'll take your remarks into consideration.

Sorry for the long post and Here's a Hearthstone Potato.
