My first deck post, try it out and you will have fun

I main a Priest with over 500 wins and i love to play control, this deck tries to be viable in countering all the major decks and keeping it fun at the same time. I prefer having fun in hearthstone just as much as i like to climb the ladder.

I have modified this deck many times adding and removing cards such as Shadow Word: HorrorShadow Madness Thoughtsteal and Holy Champion. But i felt that i had to balance the fun while still keeping it competitive so i had to include the entire volley of Auchenai Soulpriest synergistic cards such as Circle of Healing and Flash Heal. Also adding the necessary anti aggro cards Wild Pyromancer and Excavated Evil also having draw is very important and Northshire Cleric and Power Word: Shield do an excellent job at draw (also kinda Shifting Shade) but use the girls sparingly and protect them never tempo them out unless facing aggro.

Now for the fun part of the deck, although easily replaceable and less competitive than other cards they will secure your victory if you are ahead. Confessor Paletress easily replaced by other legendaries and not needed, she gives a hint of randomness to the deck which keeps it fresh and besides she is awesome! Forbidden Shaping is in the middle ground between effective and fun but it helped me more times than i screwed me over and it will guarantee you a early game minion because priest always lack one especially after the standard switch, also try using it at 8 mana if you're winning otherwise use it to always have at least 1 minion on the board. Now for Elise Starseeker it is just awesome against control and it gives you a good body on turn 4.

Final note - priest and its shenanigans will give you some of the most satisfying moments in HS but is hard to play if you are new to the game, feel free to ask me questions.

Aggro - very favourable

Midrange - favourable

Control - very favourable

Tempo - Unfavourable

Freeze mage/ Miracle rogue - Very unfavourable

So far i've had about a 70-75% win rate over 40 games by best was rank 7 because i do not have time to play with exams around the corner

UPDATE-- Rank 5

I recommend you use a midrange deck until rank 10 then this from 10-5

Mulligans--

Hunters- Easy
Keep [card]Wild Pyromancer[/card] with any 1 mana spell and [card]Northshire Cleric[/card], [card]Shadow Word: Pain[/card] is also good.
If you have [card]Circle of Healing [/card] keep either [card]Injured Blademaster[/card] or [card]Auchenai Soulpriest[/card]

Warlock- Zoo- Easy, Reno- Hard
The exact same as the hunter mulligans

Druid- Medium
[card]Museum Curator[/card] and [card]Injured Blademaster[/card] are excellent otherwise [card]Shifting Shade[/card] and [card]Elise Starseeker[/card] are okay.

Mage- Tempo - Hard, Middrange/ Cthu'n - Easy, Freeze - Very Hard
[card]Shadow Word: Pain[/card] and [card]Injured Blademaster[/card] with a way to heal him on turn 3-4 are your best cards. Otherwise make him use his removal on [card]Northshire Cleric [/card], also [card]Shifting Shade[/card] is okay

Paladin- Control - Medium, Aggro - Easy
[card]Northshire Cleric[/card] and [card]Wild Pyromancer[/card] are your best options otherwise [card]Shifting Shade[/card] and [card]Museum Curator[/card] are good picks.

Priest- Very Easy
[card]Justicar Trueheart[/card] and [card]Elise Starseeker[/card] are your best cards. starting off with [card]Museum Curator[/card] for the annoying body and the extra card in your hand is also good

Rogue- Very Hard
[card]Shifting Shade[/card] and [card]Injured Blademaster[/card] are your best bets, but expect to lose this matchup because Rogue is the hardest counter to Priest.

Shaman- Easy
[card]Shadow Word: Pain[/card] and any board clear is prefered along with a good body such as [card]Injured Blademaster[/card] or even [card]Elise Starseeker[/card], keep them alive so they can keep you alive. [card]Shadow Word: Death[/card] is also a good pick for Flamewreathed Faceless.

Warrior- Easy
[card]Justicar Trueheart[/card] and [card]Elise Starseeker[/card] are the best in this matchup but the key is reacting to his threats while keeping a minion on the board is optional. Never allow him significant value i.e turn 1 [card]Northshire Cleric[/card] into his weapon or 2 for 1 trades. Remove all of his threats then play Golden Monkey

Mulligans for at 10 upvotes - done

Please comment i want your opinion and constructive criticism.

Also i'm considering removing 1 Northshire Cleric for Sylvanas Windrunner or Harrison Jones. Any thoughts?
