Greetings Friends!

So let's clear some air straight from the start. A lot of people in the community hate aggro, a lot of people hate strong decks, especially when they're aggro. Ergo, for posting a guide for one of them will most likely result in many people wanting to pound my testicles with a sledgehammer.
So, hereby I do apologise in advance, but for a lot of people out there who like a deck like this, who like Shaman, Aggro, Burst or any "element" (get it? Because Thrall controls the Eleme... nevermind) of this deck, here's a very simple guide to hopefully help you play a little better or more consistent with this strong deck that took me to my 4th time Legend.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who are you soldier?

Certainly not Achilles or Brad Pitt...

However, I am PyroDoge, a 27 year old Dutch guy, 4x legend now, who prefers crafting & playing a variety of decks & new concepts for every hero in the game.
I like milk, questionable woman and mexican gay beer.

Now this aggro shammy deck really isn't very original but it is very strong and I wanted to at least make a guide for the few that want to try it out after seeing me have some success with it.

Furthermore, I prefer fun over the grind/rank and helping as many people possible, who want to improve their rank, especially more casual orientated players that want to get to rank 5, maybe even legend, or just a personal best as fast, as best and as chill as possible. Through my decks, Twitch and YouTube I will try and help modify and improve your play regarding your experience, available dust, gold etcetera.

El Deckeriño

You've probably seen, played and/or encountered this deck while playing since the release of Standard. This is a pretty common list for it. It's the one I used with good success.

I don't think it's very necessary to tell you about the deckstyle, cause you've probably figured out by now it's a deck that focusses on a strong early game where you are really looking for the synergy between Tunnel TroggTotem Golem and Feral Spirit. Early board control is pretty much a must. You have the mighty threat in Flamewreathed Faceless and finishing your opponent with spells or your powerful Doomhammer, which is ofcourse a devastating combo with Rockbiter Weapon

Now, this deck seems easy, a lot of people will tell you it is extremely easy and you're an asshole and a skill-lacking moron for playing it.
I would suggest not to get discouraged by this and enjoy the deck and game if you like this style of play. I myself have found aggro, hybrid, totem and burst shaman some of the most fun decks to play since the first seasons of Hearthstone.
Shaman took a lot of piss in the past months for being very weak and now that it's very strong, it is immediately considered a cancer. I would enjoy it now that Shaman is very viable again.
The deck however, is indeed delicately "easy", but it is also very 'easy' to misplay. And whenever you misplay a turn, you can lose an entire game on 1-2 damage.
Whether you fuck up on Overload mechanic, whether you blindly go SMORC like a lot of players, who then blame the deck when it doesn't work. Maybe you don't count possible lethals with whatever remains in your deck, maybe you give up too fast etc etc.
Yes, the deck is straightforward and one of its powers is that it can be very forgiving when just drawing the right synergies and topdecking, after maybe not making the best of plays, which will then still win you the game. This is the same reason why Face Hunter is/was/always will be hated as well.

Going for rank 5 vs going to Legend Rank

There is a difference in the the videos I posted for this deck and there's a difference in playstyle you can make, depending the rank you want to achieve.

In my opinion, it would suit you way more to push for extreme aggro when you can "abuse" the Bonus Star System. Even when having a low win-rate, as long as you can get streaks going with fast games, you will find yourself able to climb a lot with this deck.
So, as long as you have bonus stars: try to maybe risk synergy with mulligans and not play too much for board control and defensively because, maybe oh maybe, your opponent might have the perfect answer and you will not risk a very aggressive play.

When you're going for Legend your misplays will easily be dealt with and your overaggressive playstyle might hurt you, because more experienced or "better" players, or let's just call them what they are: higher ranked players, will most likely concentrate more on possible answers instead of panicing and misplaying cause of the aggression you're putting out there. They will have more patience and more knowledge available to know how to deal with your deck. Therefor it is very important to play this deck to the maximum and making the best of every turn you can get. Games will stretch longer and not misplaying your Overload and Unlocking the crystals; stalling a, what seems to be lost, game to still get a sick synergy or ending burst going and calculate the possible options you have to win the game and the possible options for your opponent to seal the game, will become crucial.

So, you kinda want to ask yourself how you want to play this deck. More risky, or more consistent.

Mulligans

As usual, I always advice to think for yourself on this one.

A good opening is mostly required to win the game and your blueprint for a perfect opening is out there but it will not happen consistently. Think your turns and the Overload. Your early game is all, so take an extra second for that mulligan.

In general:
 Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem
Too simple? Okay. Argent SquireFlame JugglerSir Finley Mrrgglton.
Against aggro/on coin w trogg synergy/good curve: Feral Spirit

That's it? Yes, kind of. With a perfect opening and coin you can risk a Flamewreathed Faceless but I would almost never keep it. A card you do want to keep on a perfect opening WITH COIN is Doomhammer.

Again, define your playstyle. Risky vs Consistency. Early game is all, do not take it lightly and go for a strong opening. You will find yourself losing games a lot without going for an early board and just cherishing Doomhammer and Flamewreathed Faceless too much in your opening hand.

Gameplay video #1 (while laddering to legend, crappy audio, I am sorry)

Gameplay video #2: On Legend - better recording

Card subs?

To be quite fair, I would only suggest 1 specific card sub to help you out on your early game.

Add a 2nd Argent Squire and replace, to your liking, a Flametongue Totem or an Eternal Sentinel

"This deck is for idiots, you should play control and be as cool as the rest"

Yes yes, and I'm sure the regular state of your penis is a lot larger than my boner

Have a good time playing for the rest of the season and I hope you enjoyed this guide                          (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ ✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)
