Since the release of Whispers, I have struggled to hit legend. Whether its been due to all of the new cards and my unrelenting need to try all of the new possible decks, or the lack of time that I've had to play the game recently due to finishing university, I do not know, but what I DO know is that after a few days of bouncing between rank 2 and 1 star, and rank 1 with 5 stars- this is the deck that I used to make the final push. I'm not sure why, but it works. Really really well.
The idea of the deck is to use the cheap spells to survive and maintain against aggro, or to draw with auctioneer against control. This is a very versatile deck and therefor IS skill heavy, don't expect to pick it up and just start winning games if you've never played a deck like this before. But it is a lot of fun, devastating for your opponent when played well, and... It's got Yogg in it for Pete's sake. What more could you want from a deck!?
So before this question gets asked, Why Yogg? A Yogg cast after a tonne of spells generally does two things. It clears the board, and draws you a bunch of cards. It sometimes does these things AND builds you a board, with cards like stand against darkness, call of the wild, and secrets and it rarely discards your whole hand. (Seriously, without Astral Communion, Yogg would be at least twice as good/reliable as it is now). You need to know when to play Yogg, and this i something which you just learn over time. It's a last ditch effort when your opponent is about to win anyways, and a method of drawing cards if your hand is running dry. It is not a late game win condition and should not be played if your about to enter fatigue... Unless you're going to lose anyway, in which case, go ahead. (As a side note, I did win a game a few weeks ago by casting yogg while my opponent had sylvanus on the board. He stole the Yogg and Yogg fatigued my opponent.)
Card choices and replacements: coming soon
I don't want to sit here and claim that the deck is perfect, I'm sure it can easily be refined, and I will make it my objective to do that over the next few days. I am open to suggestions in the comments here or even better, if you stop by my stream ( http://twitch.tv/falconepunch55 - I am live every day ) you can make your suggestion and witness me try it first hand!
Matchups and mulligand: Coming soon
Again, I've only played around 40 games with this deck, and not all of them have been tracked. I will publish stats when I collect some more of them. I can tell you so far that the worst matchup is Control Warrior, the only deck where I have 0 wins and 2 losses, as, similarly with freeze mage, it is just almost impossible to deal the damage needed to kill him.
MVP
Finally I want to note that some of the most valuable cards in the deck have actually been Raven Idol and Wild Growth. Both of these cards perform incredibly well with both Gadgetzan auctioneer and YoggSaron, as both essentially give you two spells for the prize of one. (You probably almost always want to grab a spell with Raven Idol, I don't think I've chosen a minion once)
Okay guys, thanks for reading. As usual, if people like this deck, then I'll expand upon this guide with videos and more information and stats, but one more time. I'll read and (try to) respond to all of the comments on the deck guide, but do come by and hang out with me on stream- http://twitch.tv/falconepunch55

what do i do now after the yogg nerf
Replacement for Fandral Staghelm?
Hey a really good replacement in my experience is replacing one Gadgetzan Auctioneer for Harrison Jones. This deck has more than enough card draw and sometimes I'm sitting with an Auctioneer in my hand with no more cards in my deck, it basically becomes a dead card. I made the replacement and my win rate increased a lot against Paladins with Defenders Ash and against Shamans with the Doomhammer. Even against general classes like hunter, rogue and warrior with deadly poison on the hero power and the Eaglehorn Bow when it gets buffed and with the Fiery Win Axe and buffed weapons against aggro pirate. Overall a really good change so make it and see for yourself. Even Acidic Swamp Ooze as a budget option. I'm playing around rank 12-8 right now, its making me climb for sure. Hope it helps.
Really fun one
that vandral+auk+thalnos combos are so sweet <3 <3
Hi man! I've watched how one streamer plays with this deck. It's awesome! But difficult, of course, as you described. Please, give your intructions how to play with this deck including mulligan.
Great deck, got from rank 5 to rank 3 without tryharding. Perfect amount of spells for Yogg.
Will there be a guide or mulligans soon?
How is this deck against Shaman and Zoo?
Do you think this deck is viable in a tornament setting?
Fun deck and I've had decent success with it as well. But you're right control warrior is almost impossible.
Yogg basically as the be the sickest thing ever to win vs Control warrior. Giving you like 6 secrets and a ton of other high value things in order to overwhelm the warrior as the turns pass.
really innovative, fun deck. I'm 4 and 1 with it just started play testing at rank 5. I see people complaining about naturalize, I'm facing a lot of miracle rogues when they xaril or tomb pillagar with 8 9 cards, I then double naturalize and they burn like 4-6 cards, lots of fun. Thinking about adding 2 doomsayers to help survive early game, any good cards to take out? thinking about a moonfire and naturalize
Without moonfire you have no burst with the malygos.
The burst is really needed against Paladin, Priest and Warrior. The deck doesn't run enough minions in order to win through board unless the enemy runs out of removal and you have board control.
1 - 8 with this deck.
After watching your video, I have to say that you were extremely lucky with your mulligans and opponents' choices. You play into obvious things over and over and your opponent still don't have the draws to stop you.
Doesn't change the fact that it was still extremely fun to watch.
Watched your video, getting legend with this deck. Great video. Loved it.You have some hilarious moments with this deck - some lucky, some not.
what can I sub for yogg?
0 - 4 with this deck. Control warrior, freeze mage, zoo lock, evolve shaman.
Still fun though
Replacements for Fandral Staghelm, Bloodmage Thalnos, and Malygos? Those are all very expesnive cards I can't afford :(
Another deck, every Malygos deck is with Bloodmage :p
Maybe nzoth could be good in it? Kappa
I wonder if a Summoning Stone would be any good in this deck. Hmmmm
