Disclaimer: This deck was not the sole creation from the mind of Reynad, just the iteration he used and did well with. I'm not claiming he was the original creator.
Introduction:
This deck is very similar to the regular tempo warrior deck but is a bit more aggressive earlier in the game due to Alexstraza’s Champion. It’s fairly fast and has the ability to control the board very well. Hopefully this guide will cover any questions that you guys may have!
Deck:
Finishers – Grommash Hellscream & Drakonid Crusher
Grommash is an obvious finisher but the real threats exist in the Drakonid Crusher, with BGH out of favor, many decks are limited to other removal that is usually wasted on earlier minions.
Draw – Azure Drake & Battle Rage
This deck substitutes Azure Drake for Acolyte of Pain to promote the dragon synergy. The Battle Rage is just good in a majority of situations.
Early Game – Fiery War Axe, Armorsmith, Alekstraza’s Champion, Faerie Dragon, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Frothing Berserker
The main purpose of a tempo deck is to maintain initiative which is supplemented by these early game plays, especially Fiery War Axe and Alekstraza’s Champion.
Tempo/Removal – Execute, Blood To Ichor, Blackwing Corruptor, Ravaging Ghoul
These cards allow you to maintain your initiative through good trades or immediate removal of threats.
Sustain – Bloodhoof Brave & Twilight Guardian
Sometimes you aren’t always going to be able to maintain the initiative so these are your minions that will help gain that back!
Sir Finley Mrrgglton Hero Power choices:
Top 3: Mage, Warlock, Hunter
Mulligans:
Vs Aggro – Fiery War Axe, Alekstraza’s Champion, Ravaging Ghoul, Bloodhoof Brave
Vs Tempo – Fiery War Axe, Blood To Ichor, Frothing Berserker, Armorsmith
Vs Control – Faerie Dragon, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Armorsmith, Execute
Matchups:
Vs Aggro – Very favored match up
Vs Tempo – 50/50
Vs Control – Slightly harder match up 40/60

Can't win a single game with this deck...
Deck is pretty terrible, much worse than the other dragon decks. Lacks the damage to kill by turn 7 unless you get lucky with draws, at that point you just fall behind and lose slowly due to lack of late game.
this decks is alright but if you fall behind on board its really hard to come back
I've had pretty good success from this deck so far I've taken it from rank 18 to 11. Haven't gotten hat high of a rank in a long time.
Swapped inMalborok andBlood Warriors for one Ichor and Gnomish Hellscream...seems to work very well.
I have everything except crusher and corruptor any replacements ? :(
if you have any of the late game tempo legendaries, those might work. ragnaros, malkarok, etc
As far as I know, this deck mostly originated from this: https://manacrystals.com/deck_guides/1175-tempo-dragon-warrior-60-7-win-rate-85-54-to-legend-from-rank-9-comparisons-to-tempo-warrior/ The link includes a very detailed and well written guide. Note however that the two decks are different. I've tried the other one and it's more aggressive - perhaps even a bit more efficient in this aggression. It is subject to a good starting hand and an explosive beginning until turn 5-6. If you don't have that, then you run out of steam quickly. I don't like aggro and I don't like running out of options, so I don't think these two are for me, but I'm still trying out the Manacrystals one.
Thanks for finding the source of the ( most likely) original deck! I'll have to try out that one and get a comparison and maybe refine this list.
I know he did not create the idea for the deck but this is the iteration he used and it varies from the other dragon tempo decks. I'm not trying to say Reynad made this deck, its just the one he used for a bit and did well with it.
Literally the worst deck.
Step 1: Open a dictionary
Step 2: Learn what literally means
Step 3: Profit
0-10
killing it man! But honestly, sorry it hasn't worked out for you, my percentage after about 50 games is about 64%. It could also be the current meta has made some changes to counter parts of this deck.
Reynad made/used this?
This is his exact list that he used last week on one of his streams, I saw others play a similar deck earlier but I wasn't able to get a concrete list until Reynad used it. I'm not going to give him the credit of making the deck all on his own, but he's someone who used it and did well with it. He was just the first person that I saw show the deck off and play with it for awhile
No worry, was just curious as I'd like to search for a vid of him playing it. Thanks.
is there a place for sylvanas and justicar in this deck... it always feels like a incomplete warrior deck without these cards in it... :(
I don't think those two would fit well in this particular deck. those are more defensive and in this deck you are trying to be the aggressor and make your opponent deal with your minions rather than you deal with theirs. This type of warrior is not meant to really get to the point where you are relying on your armor to get out of reach of your opponent.
it would be okay, but i think if anything i'd use ragnaros instead
