I Was Lost!

As a casual player, I jut want to play a fun, original and competitive deck.

But you know what? I was lost.

I was lost because I was sick of playing dumb decks!

I was lost because I was sick of losing against Shaman, Zoolock, Aggro and Tempo Warrior!

I was lost because I was sick of waiting for the Tentacles of C'Thun or the ones of N'Zoth!

I was lost because I was sick of playing... Without LUV in my heart... Without hope...

No LUV... no Hope... at all...

Then, a day, I meet the Mighty Yogg-Saron!

As a practitioner of Chaos Magic, I instantly feel His LUV!

And, I embrace IT!

And then, HE Answer my Prayers!

And so HE Will Answer YOURS! if you join HIS CULT!

Mulligan

Mulligan is pretty simple.

Most of the time, you will face an aggro deck.

Usually, you are always looking for Doomsayer, Wild Pyromancer + cheap Spells (Mind Vision, Shadow Word: Pain, etc.), Auchenai Soulpriest, Circle of Healing, etc.

When you are sure to face a control deck, you can keep cards like Shadow Word: Death, Excavated Evil or Entomb if you have the coin. But I strongly suggest to go for the usual mulligan. 

How to play?

Once you have understand how to mulligan properly, the deck is quite simple to play.
This is a pure control deck, so most of the time you have to play efficiently and on the curve.

Most of the best plays are on the curve.

You have to optimise your mana and spells.
As every control deck, it's all about patience, board control and life control.

That being said, here is a typical game...

Early game: You play cheap spells, use Shadow Word: Pain and Wild Pyromancer + cheap spells to keep control of the board. Play Thoughsteal and use the weapons of your opponent.

Mid Game: You use Auchenai Soulpriest / Embrace the Shadow + Circle of Healing or Excavated Evil to clean the board. Shadow Word: Death is great for 5+ minions you do not care about. KeepEntomb for valuable minions.

End Game: Keep to Entomb minions or play Forbidden Shaping at 8 mana. Pray and wait for Yogg. Then, spread HIS LUV!

I strongly suggest you to take a look on the gameplay footage I've done. It helps a lot to understand how to spread the LUV properly.

Elise Starseeker Well, buddy, it's not a big deal. You can replace the Lady easily. She's in only to add another win condition. You can go for whatever you want. Another spell is great (i.e Shadow Madness,Mindgames, Holy Nova, Holy Smite, Resurrect or Holy Fire) but you can also put a creature if you want (i.e: Sylvanas Windrunner for a huge board presence, Gadgetzan Auctioneer for more draw or a single Summoning Stone...)

Yogg-Saron, Hope's End What? You don't have Yogg-Saron? And you want to spread his LUV? Without Yogg you can still win but it's not fun anymore... Who wants to win without FUN? Who wants to win without LUV? Nobody. So, there is only one Hope: You Have to Craft It! NOW!

Sometimes Yogg-Saron is killing me...

LUV is all about that! Most of the time LUV makes you better and stronger. Sometimes, it's killing you.

That's LUV, buddy! Embrace It, totally! Fear nothing! Or perish!

Tips, Tricks and Advices

1. If you have the coin, try to keep it as long as possible.
2. A turn 10, Heal + Justicar + Heal again (6 life) is a great play but it's less efficient that play Justicar on curve at turn 6.
3. Try to play Forbidden Shaping at 8 mana. Best value ever because it can offer you free minions like Tirion Fordring, Ragnaros, Lightlord, Al'Akir the Windlord, Rhonin, Anomalus, Grommash Hellscream, Chromaggus, Gruul, Ragnaros the Firelord, The Boogeymonster, etc.
4. Do not panic: you have plenty of removal and board cleaner.
5. Do not forget the burst of damage of Embrace the Shadow / Auchenai + Flash Heal.

How Yogg LUVS Me

I will be honnest. Because I LUV Him, Yogg LUVS me too. I mean, a lot...

Alongside a couple of other homebrewed decks I'm currently testing, I've started playing this deck at rank 18, I'm now at rank 15** on a winstreak.

(yeah only rank 15 mostly because I loose a lot with my other decks :)
