36-11 in stream 21/06/2016, getting rank 17 legend.
This is a video from a friend playing this deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRDmC6BCekw
Still can't figure out how to play this deck...
Mulligan maybe?
You! Yes, you!
Before you ask, let me answer;
No! There is not a replacement for fandral. See how this deck is 60% made up of "Choose-One" cards? Yeah, fandral *makes* this deck.
Asking for a replacement for fandral in this deck is like asking for a replacement for tunnel trogg in aggro shaman.
There is none.
Ok but what's a good replacement for Fandral?
do we need a tiger? maybe kodo?
So I played a vanilla Ramp druid at beginning of this month and got from rank 19 up to rank 15 fast. Switched to this and get eaten alive, probably 20% win rate. Down to rank 18 where I can see my opponents aren't making great plays with their decks, but this deck simply has too few answers. Maybe I'm just too used to Ramp, or the meta is just brutal for this deck right now.
So many people have negative comments on this deck...at first its a struggle then you kinda get the mechanics but its not as overly simple as it looks nor is it overly great either. It has its moments where its just overpowered and then it has its moments where it falls on its face repeatedly. On lower levels the deck was out paced by nearly every major deck. At higher levels it was able to have more success Conclusion great players can navigate any deck to success and this is not meant for anything below 10...
I agree. The deck gets stomped by "autoplay" decks of all kinds.
Pretty decent deck which first aim is to confuse an opponent who naturally expect to face a sort of C'Thun druid first of all. Out of 12 games on ranks from 12 to 7 i lost only 2 games and both to heavy druids (one was a C'Thun which had an amazing card lineup and 2nd one was Heavy Ramp as i had no answer to Ragnaros the Firelord at time, which was pretty much my mistake).
Ws control decks is works by picking Warlock or Hunter power and just keeping pressure while more defensive Mage ability is decent vs face decks (hello, face shaman and zoolock).
The thing i would actually suggest is to call this deck not aggro but more of midrange or even combo (due to strong synergies with Fandral Staghelm and Violet Teacher)
This deck is garbage vs the current meta, cannot even get past rank 17,
Control/Midrange decks own this all over the place.
Look, the majority of people can get past rank 17 with ANY deck. So if you can't with an actual deck that's on you. Maybe you're garbage.
way to add toxicity to this site.
That's about the stupidest thing someone has ever written on hearthpwn. Old Gods decks absolutely suck now so it has nothing to do with getting past rank 17 or not.
Somehow the Violet Teachers just don't seem to belong. Think I would prefer a Mire Keeper and a Keeper of the Grove for more versatility and Fandral synergy. But I'll certainly test this out first before passing judgment.
you my friend are a really skilled player
this deck is trash dont play it unless you like losing
What are we looking for from Sir Finley in this deck?
Random hero power. What do you expect from a random set of cards? :D This is NOT A DECK.
mostly mage but sometimes lock in slower matchups.
