Hi! Have had some success with this deck (Portals RNG apart) so I wanted to share.
The problem: typical Mage in current TB: 2 Mana Wyrm, 2 Sorcerer's Apprentice, 2 Flame Walkers and one other (Loatheb usually but I've seen Frost Bolt, Mirror Image, Yogg, etc).
The key are the first 6 cards; knock those out and at least it's RNG vs. RNG.
Silence/SWP while building trade fodder. Soulpriest/Circle combo is mainly for when the Flame Walkers appear.
Second Circle, of course, can be used to heal your own minions or for a large clear. If you want to live on the edge, substitute 1 Circle for Yogg. After all, Yogg is always fun win or lose.
Mulligan: Soulpriest always. Silence and Mind Vision are great too (snag a Wyrm, Apprentice, or Flame Walker: magi hate that...).
