This is a tempo focused C'Thun deck, it beats non triple C'Thun warrior, and have a better chance to survive against aggressive decks.
How to pull out this combo?
See video, second match, triple C'Thun vs double C'Thun.
why no elise?
Because in mirror match or against priest, it is a big disadventage, if you play Elise, you opponent plays C'Thun after, you lose. It doesn't do anything against aggro decks either.
why 1 shield slam?
Because in the early stages of the game, you are fighting for the board control and do not have mana to armor up. So it turns out shield slam is valuable only after turn 7.
why no gorehowl?
It is useless against aggro decks, you can't afford to face tank any damage on turn 7, your opponent may have some kind of burst at that moment.
why 1 brawl?
Because it is useless in mirror match, most time it is a dead card. It is also useless against some classes who can beat you without playing many cards (for example control shaman, control hunter and maybe priest?)
Unfortunately not, Justicar Trueheart is a key card in the deck and if you want to play this deck, you should try to craft it or obtain it from packs as soon as possible. However if you still want to play this deck without it, you could replace it with Sylvanas Windrunner.
Justicar Trueheart would rotate out of standard in April 2017 so she would stay in standard for about 10 more months. So it is your choice if you want to craft and play her for about 10 more months in standard.
I am going to try this right now
i like the Emperor in this deck, because if emperor reduce cost either Brann or Doomcaller, then use them to get 2x cthuns lategame. all you have to do is dodge their sylvanas stealing c'thun.
