The basics of Priest should be considered for this deck, Control.

The goal of this combo Priest is very similar to the OTK Worgen Warrior.
-Control the match until you draw all the pieces of your combo.
-Play Emperor Thaurissan to achieve the maximum mana efficient cost of your cards.
-Deal 40 damage with 6 cards.
Profit.

How is this possible?
Okay, in the last expansion we received a "Pocket Auchenai"; a 2 mana your healing becomes damage spell (Embrace the Shadow).
So, how could this translate into an OTK deck? Easy, Prophet Velen.

Double healing and damage of all your spells and hero power, this is the part where Flash Heal and Mind Blast come in play.
This 4 cards plus Embrace the Shadow and Prophet Velen deal a total of 40 damage.

All that along with Emperor Thaurissan played the past turn results in a total of 9 mana.

So, how can you stale the game until this phase of the game?
Pretty easy, Priest is a class that is not as versatile as the other classes, the sole purpose of a Priest deck, is to control the match with 33% of it's card pool.

In this deck you have heavy board control such as Holy NovaExcavated EvilShadow Word: DeathShadow Word: PainEntombCabal Shadow Priest, Auchenai Soulpriest and Sylvanas Windrunner.
A fuck ton of control if you ask me.

But what about Tempo and the mid game
Priest has an amazing Tempo game if drawn correctly, Shifting Shade, Museum Curator and Acolyte of Pain are insane in the early game against any class or deck, specially Control C'thun Warrior, the deck that is currently crushing ladder.

The shadow words will keep the early board game at a decent control. And cards like Thoughtsteal and Justicar Trueheart will secure you a way to the late game.

Oh fuck it's another C'thun Warrior
This deck completely destroys C'thun warrior, with multiple winning conditions, this deck is insane against other control decks. How come? This is the explanation:

Besides the initial 40 damage goal, we have a full N'Zoth, the Corruptor Deathrattle synergy within the deck, Sylvanas Windrunner, both Shifting Shades and the card pulled by Museum Curator, without mentioning the possible extra Deathrattle cards generated by Thoughtsteal and the Shades.

C'thun warrior ONLY use heavy core cards needed to win the game, such as BrawlC'ThunGorehowlElise Starseeker, etc. So the percentage of you stealing one of the heavy core cards it's prreeeeeetty good!

Also we have INSANE lategame with Ragnaros the FirelordConfessor Paletress and well N'Zoth, the Corruptor.

Mulligans
Possibly the hardest part of the deck (besides drawing correctly).

On your opening hand you should ALWAYS keep:
Acolyte of Pain and Museum Curator, they are your best openers against any class.

Against C'thun Warrior:
Acolyte of PainMuseum Curator / Justicar Trueheart

Against Yogg Tempo-Mage:
Northshire Cleric / Acolyte of PainMuseum CuratorPower Word: Shield

Against Zoolock:
Northshire Cleric / Power Word: Shield / Acolyte of PainMuseum Curator / Holy Nova

Against N'zoth Paladin:
Northshire Cleric / Power Word: Shield / Acolyte of Pain / Shifting Shade

This deck was tested by a few people including myself and some comments i keep getting are pretty obvious.
"This deck is crazy against Zoolock 'cuz of the Novas, Excavated evils and tempo"
"I keep stealing C'thun and the golden Monkey"
"Against Rogues its always a 1 side match up ending with the salty Rogue conceding"
Etc.
