Muligans: Having Totem Golem in your opening hand is the best so you should always look for that so you can have strong start and remove early threars. Then you want to keep Stormcrack for early removals / Acidic Swamp Ooze againts weapon classes or as a tempo 2 drop. Always Keep Ancestral Healing + Injured Blademaster cause having 4/7 taunt at turn 3 is the best :)
Tips: Keep Lightning Storm againts (zoo) warlocks, Hex againts druid, just because they can have big minions early so its good to have answers for that.
Gameplay: Try to overplay enemy with your removals and cheap minions at early stage of the game, summon totems so you can get your Thing from Below as cheap as possible. After that just deploy your taunt which will help you to survive really long. Fire Elementals for removing and gaining more tempo over the enemy.Thunder Bluff Valiant is the best card in the deck so try to get advantage and value from it by buffing multiple totems and then trading them or pushing for face if you are ahead.
Mana Tide Totem another card that can give you really big advantage so try to hide the totem behind a taunt so you can get as much cards as possible. If you have a terrible hand and you really need to find something just play it even if it will draw just one card.
Ancestral Spirit - Combine mostly with Bog Creeper or Thing from Below but you can also combine it with Injured Blademaster (you will get 4/7 after it dies) if you dont have any taunts to play and need to get more board value.
Dont worry of throwing naked Injured Blademaster on the board - When your opponent is ahead of you just do it cause you cant wait for one card that does not have to come. Also getting him out when you have Healing Totem on the board is good too.
Ancestral Healing the best use is to combine it with Injured Blademaster but you can also use it with your other minions after trading and then healing them to full and giving them taunt. Example - Againts agro/tempo decks if you have Totem Golem at start, you can trade with it and then heal it back to full, but only if you dont have Injured Blademaster in hand.
If you struggle with your heros health during most of the games, exchange Tuskarr Totemic for another Healing Wave .
Yeah, I could do that :) I will let you know when its done, or you can watch my YT channel from time to time for new videos :)
Thanks ! I will try to do that :) Btw you can check this deck for now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tsynBel3vg its a low budget midrange shaman which does not require any adventures and also work pretty well on ladder :)
I know this is a budget deck, and it was a miracle in itself that I could afford it, but what should I begin to replace/upgrade as I get more and more dust and cards? Thanks!
This deck is utterly amazing, all you need to do is keep the board clear and your totems up and you'll win in no time!
Exactly, Im glad that it works for you and you like it :)
