Hi Guys,

My name is Tokes and I have reached Legend a few times while only playing a couple of hours a day on the UK (EU) servers. :p kappa

I wanted to make a "New" rogue deck which would shake up the Meta slightly. Lots of players are playing Shaman, Mage & Druid. Rogue players are represented but only in the miracle format but still rare to see on ladder.

I have played this deck from rank 5 to Legend rank 47. And the great news it is cheap to craft and mostly uses classic cards.

Reason for Changes

Azure Drake for an extra mana gives to many bonus stats as pointed out by some legend players to miss out on. Also as its warriorstone atm the 4/3 charge Smorc trades too well. I have tried running 1 as my only 4 drop but prefer the current list.

Fan of Knives this card i debated a long time over and thats because of the Zoo match up. If they played Forbidden Ritual at around turn 5-6 with a Knife Juggler if your minions didnt die the 1/1 tentacles get excellent trades with any surviving 2/1's. Also inclusion of azure drakes now for a 2 damage AOE should not be sniffed at. It also helps dealing with Druid and Violet Teacher. And if you draw it on turn 10 you can just cycle and play any card in the deck. (Except Rag)

Pit Snake So i have dropped Buccaneer for the snake. This is mainly to annoy your oppoent. Druid on Turn 7 wants to drop Ancient of War but with this out he cant. Turn 4 Shaman wants to play the 7/7.. not anymore :) However this card i still debate about and may be cut in the future.

So how to play the deck?

You want to mulligan for a 1 drop which is not Sir Finley Mrrgglton. Argent squire is the best followed by Buccaneer but dont be afraid to drop any 1 drop on turn 1.

The first couple of turns are to estabilsh board control your 1 drop will hopefully kill there 2 drop which you can then follow up with your own 2 drop. Which will kill there 3 drop and then with the help of Abusive Sergeant, Defias Ringleader and Buccaneer. You should start to have a strong board especially with Argent Horserider andSI:7 Agent you can switch from board control to face!
