Unlike Normal, the hero power for Mirror makes a copy of all minions for itself now and you get nothing. The idea is to drop minions that benefit the AI the least, which is basically the point of this deck.
Super easy Fatigue deck. Save the Shadowstep and Gang Up for Coldlight Oracle, just keep clearing his board with the plethora of AOE (remember Explosive Sheep is 4 to all minions since mirror gets the 1/1, and you can ping it with weapon) . Only cards to worry about are Archmage Antonidas and Rhonin who hinder the AI more than anything with more hand filling, but if you're unprepared he may be able to burst you down.
Also - Watch out for Counterspell, test with your cheaper removal or prep, don't want to waste your Shadowstep or Gang Up on this if you really need those extra mills. Because he has so much draw, it shouldn't be a big deal but will be harder to recover.
Dark Iron Skulker - Great for cleaning up the 1/1. Comboed with the other removal in the deck, can take out almost any threat.
Coldlight Oracle - Try to hit the Duplicates with this if you can too, some more easy self-milling.
Revised to Doomsayer since I missed him on first build.
Note for some subs if you're missing the Epic cards: Doomsayer doesn't really have a sub and neither does Preparation. But if you don't have them, you want to either add some more healing in Zombie Chow or Corrupted Healbot or board damage like 1 more Tentacle of N'Zoth and/or Abomination. You want to extend the game through board clears, healing and causing the Mirror to over draw and lose cards, eventually dying to fatigue.
If you're not doing well and dying too fast you think, you can also sub the Chow/Healbot in for Prep. Chow is better for the low curve out and a steadier early game, Healbot will provide more value overall but at a higher mana cost.
Thanks for all the support, wasn't expecting much out of this but glad I threw it up here!
I recorded the deck in action to give people a basic idea of how it works:
Zombie Chow helped me a lot, you can Sap boss copy 1/1 and get infinite heal
good deck
1st Try ezpz
I HATE FLAMEWAKERS. I lost 3-4 times because of duplicated flamewakers toasting me for 8-12 dmg from one spell lol. On my last few tries: if he had a secret up, before doing anything (like clearing the board) I would ALWAYS check for Duplicate by pinging a 1/1 Sorcerer's Apprentice or even better a copy of one of my Coldlight Oracles with my hero power weapon (nothing better than him playing Coldlight with a 1/1 of my Brann on his board haha). Sometimes there's really nothing you can do though:
I eventually got him though! I tried to save Sap for Rhonin, and made sure Mirror's hand was full before pinging the 1/1 Rhonin. I got toasted several times by his spell damage + Arcane Missiles combo when he got a handful of missiles or Fireballs. Abomination and Zombie Chow really helped me survive until I got the needed Coldlight Oracle + Gang Up combo.
There must be something I'm doing wrong. I'm up to ten tries now and am nowhere near beating him yet.
How can i do against his duplicate? all minions with duplicate are ruining me. I had to destroy 12 or 13 flamewakers and i lost by that
The Flamewakers are absolutely horrible. I lost 3-4 times because of duplicated flamewakers toasting me for 8-12 dmg from one spell. On my last few tries: if he had a secret up, before doing anything (like clearing the board) I would ALWAYS check for Duplicate by pinging a 1/1 Sorcerer's Apprentice or even better a copy of one of my Coldlight Oracles with my hero power weapon. Sometimes there's really nothing you can do though.
thx first try
First try (kinda). Had to restart on the first one because I understood the strategy half-way. Exact decklist won the game super easy. You have to save your minions for the right time. And don't forget, Doomsayer triggers at the beginning of their turn, making it essentially an auto-boardclear.
Doomsayer is clutch in this one
Great decklist! Easy to play and effective! Thanks!
Great deck, I think. He actually milled his own antonidas by skipping his turn 1,2 and that draw 3 thingy on turn 3 without me doing anything (dagger up) so I didnt even have to do the milling for him.
Took me a few tries because I couldn't draw Coldlight Oracle, but once I did it was GG. Good deck!
BM the boss? It is wery cool!!!
Work for me, on the second attempt. Thx
Worked for me on the first try thx :)
It even worked after a few bad decisions !
Proof:
Thanks a lot !! FIrst try ! That Cult Apothecary saved my life a million times. Also used his own Archmage Antonidas against him. :))
1st time win
Dont have sheeps so replaced them with abomination 2x and it worked really good. Better than Priest.
Nice deck. Tried the priest deck. This one works much better. First try :)
Subbed out betrayal and 1 doomsayer for Zombie Chow and Cyclopian Horror. Beat it 2nd try.
This deck was also good enough to beat Silverware Golem herioc handily on the second try (bad first draw).
