Got to legend with freeze mage. I'm using novice engineers instead of loothoarders though. And I changed antonidas for a second pyroblast, just too many dirty rats out there. 

In your mulligan you should actively look for the arcanologists, not loothoarders (bigger body and they only have value when there are secrets in the deck). And against aggro you should try and get nova doomsayer or a frostbolt even. 

Vs quest warrior you should try and get damage spells from primordial glyph and wait for Alexstraza. Kill alley armorsmith or he will go out of reach. 

In the end I had a 63% winrate (39-23). Aggro Druid (6-1) and rogue (8-2) being the best match up. Only got a negative record against Priest and shaman (although really small sample size 1-2 and 0-1). 

Currently 8-2 with this deck at rank 8.  One loss was to quest rogue and the other was to a shaman that healed for 24 after my Alex turn :( Amazing list and is working great currently. (Way better than quest mage)

Not sure if Antonidus is ideal in this deck?  Sure, if you save up the coin and the cards you get from Primordial Glyph you get a bunch of fireballs, but you frequently have to drop those spells just to make it to 7.  He's definitely not a bad choice, just not as great as he used to be.  Swapping him out for The Curator gives you a hefty taunt body the opponent has to hit through (perfect attack against Priests, even) and gives you a second Alexstrasza in the deck.

Antonidas won me a match against quest warrior, just for that reason I think it's worth keeping in the list.

Thanks for the guide! I played some amount of Freeze Mage in Wild, and when the amount of Eaters became obscene I moved to Standard, but Standard Freeze is much harder to play. I tried playing with Kobold already and this card is a-mazing.

BTW, do you think the deck is better in the meta after the nerfs? I lost to quite a lot of Freeze Mages, all with Kobolds, hehe, but I was playing Maly Rogue, so it's not the best representation of the meta. Pondering trying to get to r5 or further too (though I already did that with Freeze in Wild) if I get bored from trying to get my golden Rogue.

I don't like Evolved Kobold. Can I replace it?

Just me again Radiante! But I was thinking about a replacement idea and wanted your opinion in it. I find myself not really using Pyroblast mainly because of the high cost, usually leaving me with a dead card or dead hero. Do you think maybe switching it for another delay, perhaps Cone of Cold, would be good? If you'd like to add me, feel free! Sobahooga#1321

Plz try The Curator it wil give you a bigger chance of getting Alexstrasza, and THIS WILL WIN GAMES FOR YOU. 

Some people think it's not that good, believe me it will win you a lot of games that you will normally simply loos because Alexstrasza is one of you're last cards.

O and dont try to put in murlocs or beast, it wont work that well, it will just slow you down.

I like the idea here. I know we just subbed out a Pyro, so I'll try curator in its place!

This deck is not so bad. The guide and recommendations are really cringey though... Especially the combos and replacements lmao.

Keeping freeze Mage alive!!!

Why do you recommend replacing Bloodmage Thalnos with Kobold Geomancer, when there is a mage class card with same ability and mana cost, but better stats - Cult Sorcerer? (Yeah, it's not a big deal to combo any of these minions with spells, but when you forced to play this minion to make some trades, 3 attack is much stronger than 2)

Cult Sorcerer isn't from Karazhan...

If you have never been forced to play minion with spell damage to somehow keep the board contest vs shamans, dragon warriors etc playing as a freeze mage, seems you're facing them not that often (what seems obviously impossible)

Sometimes, on early turns, you're gonna try to read their next turn play, and sometimes you would better play something to trade into with or you just gonna get your both Ice Blocks popped on turn 8 (Blizzard + Spell Damage turn)

Or even in some situations you play Bloodmage Thalnos on turn 2 only to cycle it (because your hand is being total sh*t)
