Hey my name is Blauwtjess. A 21 year old player from the Netherlands. I'm not good at this game at all but I like to have fun with my deck.
So evolve shaman, why?
Massive synergy between cards\
Changes 19-08-2016: -1 Lightning Bolt, -1Hex and +2 Ancestral Spirit
Card Choices:
Evolve: This deck will work without evolve, but evolve makes it even more powerful!
Barnes: Barnes has massive synergy with evolve. All of the cards barnes summons are better when evolved, even ragnaros.
Moat Lurker: Killing a sylvanas on your own board to gain board control? Yes please. Killing an enemy minion and evolving Moat Lurker so he won't spawn the enemy minion again? Yes please! Killing the minion that Barnes spawned so when Moat Lurker dies you get a full version of the 1/1 card u got.
Bloodmage Thalnos: Good carddraw and again barnes synergy
Twilight Summoner: Barnes synergy and Moat Lurker synergy.
Emperor Thaurissan: Summoning a Sylvanas and Moat lurker in one turn to instantly gain board control.
Ragnaros the Firelord Obviously for Barnes synergy
If this hits 25 upvotes I'll write a mulligan and at 50 upvotes I'll add a replacement section

I build this deck based on BroManDudeGuyPal's Moat Lurker Barnes deck
TIER 9 DECK, REALLY NICE
This is a really fun deck - while not as competitive its much more fun than aggro...and it usually catches others off guard
What could be replaced with twilight summoner?
That and isn't hammer of twilight good instead of it because it is a solid weapon and comboes with evolve.
Is there a card I can replace with Thalnos, saving up dust to craft him
A very very solid deck, the best about it is it's flexible enough to act as a zoo or as heavy and sticky minions, depending on the matchup. Well, and of course the evolve trick. The other time I ate opponent's 4-10 (c'thun druid) and evolved minions into two 7-7s, the opponent conceded immediately. So, have an upvote.
Also, suggest removing Barnes.. he's not that good in this deck, as there are only about 6 minions you want him to summon vs. about 14 minions that won't make any difference. Hoping to have a moat lurker and be able to play him is too situational and naive. So I replaced it with Maelstrom Portal. Makes better plays against zoo.
Another suggestion is Healing Wave. Saved me a whole bunch of times.
Just played with this deck for a bit. Discovered something I thought was hilarious. I managed to use Ancestral Spirit on my Ragnaros and then use Moat Lurker to kill it, just trying stuff out you know... anyhow, the priest I was up against used Shadow Madness on my lurker, killed it, but the new Rag spawned on MY side causing him to instantly concede. After wiping away the tears of uncontrollable laughter, I had to wonder... is that how Moat Lurker is SUPPOSED to work? If he technically owned the card when it died, why would the deathrattle effect apply for me?
yes, if you're able to kill your sylvanas with the moat, it's almost GG if you're up against another control deck. I find moat & sylvanas in priest just to be bonkers, add nzoth and resurrect (4 resurrect effects in total), and clearing the boards against such a deck has little effect :D
Round 10-15+: Have sylvanas on board, no damage spells in hand; opponent plays doomsayer.
moat lurker the sylvanas... sylvanas comes back. He kills it off; play resurrect: Sylvanas is back... GG :)
Thanks for the mention! I really like your deck. I might also include thaurissan in my deck for that wombo combo! The only thing I would change is maybe get rid of evolve because it works against your Moat Lurker. But maybe I focus too much on that card :P Cheers!
P.s. I also give you credit on my page ;)
It seems to me that running two hexes might be a little redundant as you have moat lurkers for hard removals.
I'd recommend an ancestral spirit. Its a fantastic card for non-aggro shaman decks as for two mana you can effectively double up on a minion, so as long as you have something on the board (besides tunnel trogg) you almost always end up getting extreme value out of it.
Otherwise N'zoth would give you a second win condition.
What are you talking about? In current meta of rags and giants all over the place this deck needs 3rd hex!
