Mill Rogue. Will add the description if we hit 5+ upvotes!
Intro:
Hello, my name is ManThighs and I'm a Canadian hs player from Canada. I first started playing hearthstone in 2015 and I immediately loved playing non-meta decks. About a year and a half ago I was on Tapped Out (An MTG Deckbuilding site) and I saw a mill deck. Intrigued I pressed on the link and I found what I thought the coolest deck archetype ever was. In MTG your hand limit is 7 so your deck was based on making your opponent draw too many cards and "Mill' the others. After I had read the post I went to Hearthstone and tried to recreate the deck. I finally made a Mill Druid deck that used Naturalize and Coldlight Oracle. The deck proved to be inconsistent and bad for the meta so I switched to Mill Rogue. The deck was tons of fun to play but also required lots of thinking and strategy. With Standard, I tried to recreate Mill Rogue and here is the result. It's not nearly as prominent as Mill Rogue was in the Pre-Standard era but when piloted properly this deck can be successful in the current meta.
Card Choices:
Rogue Cards:
Backstab: A 0 mana deal 2 damage to a minon and enables combos is a 2 of for me. Sometimes better to save the card for combo or on a 3/4 instead of a 2/3.
Shadowstep: Easily one of the most powerful cards in the deck as it enables tons of combos with Coldlight Oracle, Shadowcaster, Reno Jackson, and Barnes.
Eviscerate: Premium Rogue Removal. Nothing else to be said.
Gang Up: Really the only reason this deck exist. Best Combo is Gang Up - Coldlight Oracle but sometimes Gang Up and a healing card is a better play.
Sap: A Great Tempo card and extremely powerful when cards like Vanish or Coldlight Oraclehave just been played so you can destroy your opponents minion for just 2 mana.
Fan of Knives: Good cycle card and when combined with Spell Damage it's pretty powerful.
Shadow Strike: A very powerful card as it kills most minions with ease. A potential 2 of in this deck.
SI:7 Agent: A very strong rogue staple. Not a 2 of because this deck can't consistently rely on combo.
Dark Iron Skulker: Rogues only decent board clear. Absoloultey anals Zoo and 4/3 body isn't terrible either.
NOT FINISHED
Gang up on Reno works surprisingly well. I've played a few casual games with this deck and won them all... Love it when the opponent drops an acolyte of pain. There was one N'zoth paladin in particular who didn't have a clue what was going on until it was too late :D
Just made avideo. ik it's bad but it does highlight thhe deck. https://www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=pJrNyBqoDws
Sorry going to finish the Guide soon with video wr match ups and more. Sorry for the delay check back in a day or 2.
I'd love to hear your reasoning for including Barnes. None of your cards are useful as a 1/1. Is it only in there to try to pull a Coldlight so you can Shadowstep it back into your hand? Also what do you think of including Violet Illusionist as a substitute for Reno when it comes out? You can still play a huge fatigue turn but only your opponent will take the fatigue damage. Also it's cheaper to play.
hmm Violet Illusionist might work pretty well. I wouldn't replace reno with it but maybe might replace barnes or a Farseeer. Thanks for the suggestion.
Why is reno jackson in there?
By the time you reach fatigue you'll be at very low health. Reno Jackson helps you stabilize and finish off the game. The card does seem counter-intuitive with gang up but believe me it works.
I really wanted to love this one... but so far 4 defeats...
And then I summoned 1/1 Doomcaller with Barnes to destroy my board....

I loved overdraw druid... i liked it more than mill rogue, and man... that surprise effect when a card stacked opponent suddenly realizes what you are capable of - priceless :)
Yup the feeling of milling your opponent is absolutely amazing!
What is the target for Barnes?
All i see are battlecry minions, which would be worthless 1/1s without a shadowstep
Same. Don't want to craft Shadowcaster just to try this deck...need something fun for rogue quest today.
