Introductions:
Hey my IGN is Janos, and I play for my own team - Nordic Rangers. Some of you might remember me from my Tempo Mage Guide in season 14 ( http://goo.gl/ejyb0d ), and furthermore I have been legend 26x times. I've won some danish tournaments, and also some online tournaments. In my last guide I mentioned how I'd like to expand my collection of Hearthstone guides, and this is now my second one. I intend to publish a monthly guide from here on out, so stay in touch! Guides will be published around the 20th each month.
Going into the deck, I really wanna stress that it might seem pay-to-win at first, but it's probably one of the most difficult decks to currently play in the game, if not the hardest.
Winstreaks:
Enough about me... I played this deck with my buddy Furyhunter on his account and we used Skype Screenshare, and like you can see it went pretty well.
When we got Legend #1 we obviously got excited, and we played really well ^^
But we thought it could be cool, if we got #1 on his account and #2 on my account.

When we got #16 on my account, we lost 2 in a row to Midrange Hunter and got all the way to #93 on only 2 losses, and that kinda made us lose the hope for #1 and #2. Even though we didn't get #1 and #2, we still think it's an amazing deck and worth to post anyway. I want to emphasize that we played together and talked about the plays.

- Acolyte of Pain
- Slam
- Ravaging Ghoul
- Acolyte of Pain
Other
- Execute (if you have slam or ravaging ghoul without having Fiery War Axe + Slam). If you have Fiery War Axe + Slam you won't need execute for their 3/5 in the early game.

[ Shaman: ]
Key Cards
- Fiery War Axe
- Bash
- Ravaging Ghoul
Keep if you start with a key card
- Bloodhoof Brave (AND The Coin)

- Elise Starseeker
- Justicar Trueheart (because priest is so slow atm)
- Bloodhoof Brave (good early before they can use Cabal on it)
Other
- Shield Slam and Shield Block if you have those cards together in your mulligan.
Execute (if you have any execute activator like Bash, Slam or Fiery War Axe)
STRATEGY:
Against aggro: You have to play as defensive as possible, you really just want to survive. In this matchup you often don't need to get full value of your cards. Normally a card like Shield Slam is really good at clearing a big minion, but in this matchup you sometimes have to use it on a 3/2 in order to survive.
Against control: You have to play as slow as possible. You should seek to outvalue your opponent. In this matchup you will need to get full value of your cards and always be aware of fatigue. Normally a card like Bash is really good against aggro, but in a control Warrior mirror you sometimes have to use it on their face in order not to overdraw.
Against midrange: You have to make a mix of "against aggro" and "against control". Midrange is the hardest matchups, because you have to slow them down in such a manner, that you are still able to maintain value in the long game. Let us say you play against a Zoo, and he has a 2/3 Imp Gang Boss, then it can in certain situations be worth to Execute it, in order to avoid getting too far behind, even though execute would be better off on a Doomguard or something of that size.
You must estimate whether you need full value of a card to stay in the game longterm or quick removal of your opponents aggro resulting in diminished card value. Being able to shut down your opponents pressure early/midgame and staying in the fight throughout the whole game is the balance that you must find to master this matchup.
CARD REPLACEMENTS:
First I want to stress that I really don't recommend replacing any single card in this deck, but these are the replacements you can make if you're forced to.
If you're missing any other cards than those listed below, I strongly suggest for you to venture out and find another deck, because the possibilities of this deck and the ranks you're able to reach with it are very diminished when you're missing too many vital cards. I expect for you to have cards like Elise Starseeker and Revenge from adventures.
- [ Grommash Hellscream ]
It's really hard to replace because it's a vital mean of removing minions such as Azure Drake, and then you can suddenly setup unexpected lethal, since you already use cards like Gorehowl and Bash. This strategy is especially important against Reno Warlock, when they use Lord Jaraxxus. If you don't have the card I suggest you replace it for Ragnaros the Firelord, but if you can manage to gather the dust needed to craft him, he's the most important of the 4 listed cards in this bracket.
- [ Tinkmaster Overspark ]
Can be replaced by Spellbreaker because it can be used on minions that need their effect to be denied, but Tinkmaster is better at dealing with C'Thun, Stealthed Gadgetzan Auctioneer & dealing with big minions such as Deathwing.
- [ Harrison Jones ]
Can be replaced by Acidic Swamp Ooze because it can remove weapons aswell. In some matchups you don't want to draw, which can make it better and against fast decks like Dragon Warrior it can be good to stop their tempo. I still prefer Harrison Jones because of the draw and body.
- [ Baron Geddon ]
Revenge has the most important part of Baron Geddon, but doesn't quite do the trick. You will be missing the body which isn't the worst part, but Geddon is so much more reliable for the 2 damage AoE whereas Revenge might only do a single damage.
VIDEO GUIDE:
Coming soon!
All I have left to do now is make the video guide, but I'll make sure to do that ASAP! I hope you all understood my guide and if you liked it and my deck as well, please give me a +1, it will help me a lot! Thank you all. :D
Is it possible to replace a card with Ysera? If so which one?
Once Justicar Trueheart is out of standard what could be used to replace it?
*sees Tinkmaster*
yep im definetly making this
can i replace arch theif rafam for any of these cards???
Btw is soggoth more impirtant than grammash?
I don't have Tinkmaster, so I add in the 2nd Revenge. It works great =D
So now I have 2x Brawl, 2x Revenge, 2x Ghoul, Baron, and Soggoth to Anti-Aggro.
I love this deck! and refuse to play cancer decks no matter how hard it makes my life! this decks hard to pilot i'd say but it's very rewarding! i replaced -1 Acolyte of Pain with another Revenge saved me countless times and -1 Tinkmaster Overspark for +1Alexstrazsa for a nice combo with Grom and occasionally clutch! saves my ass!
I mean, it's good on its own, control warrior usually is, but it's still getting shit on by the maly-yogg druid/mage meta. Went 10-1 last night. Like I would make it to the end game and stabilize with justicar but then yogg drops and flips the table. It's like you can't even win without using yogg in your deck anymore.
solid winrate with this deck, im currently missing justicar. what can i use as a temporary replacement. oh and i dont accept comments like: "dont play control warrior without justicar." cus im doing fine so far at a solid 75% winrate.
-1 Sylvanas +1 Bolf Ramshield. What do you think? Too many aggro decks and Bolf covers a full turn or two which 1-1 minons doesnt worth for Sylvanas. And i put Tinkmaaster but is it a good idea o replace it with Malcheezar?
malchezaar only destroys the consistancy of card draw. as a control warrior you dont want that really.
useless against mid/nzoth/murloc paladin ;)
TESTED.
i dont have Tinkmaster Overspark and i replaced him with Prince Malchezaar and its incredible
you mean its incredibly bad? Malchezaar is one of the worst cards for control warrior becouse it destroys his consistency.
have you tried it? no?! ok! come back afterwads
it could see more play once Elise gets cycled into wild from people trying to keep up that all legend late game
Great deck, here is my changes:
Soggoth the Slitherer -1
Elise Starseeker -1
Tinkmaster Overspark -1
Revenge +1
Prince Malchezaar +1
Ragnaros The Firelord +1
Hows this deck working so far OP? I'm only missing tinkmaster and thinking of crafting it. Thanks in advance.
My warrior is already golden.
Focusing on making golden Priest and Rogue.
Hard to win games.
Play 30 minutes priest game only to lose on fatigue.
This deck is good. The Soggoth is not that good, too expensive but he alone can take down 3 minions
I've been trying this deck for about 15 games and i have to say that it's weak against the current meta. N'Zoth and Dragon Paladin out-values you. Mid-range hunter is to aggressive and you can't defend well to make it to the late game. And if you don't have a good draw against any type of aggro deck they out-tempo you. I'll keep playing but i'm not sure that it's worth the dust.
