If this gets more up-votes, I will go more into detail.
For now, here are the basics:
The name comes from the tricking powers this has in the meta right now. People will assume it is the popular Beast Druid, and mulligan to counter that. In return, they get demolished because of our ability to sustain the board via spell use.
General Mulligan:
Innervate, Barnes, (If you have a Wild Growth, Innervate, or both) Raven Idol, Wild Growth.
The goal of the deck is to survive until you can draw a lot of cards, and combo the opponent to death. There are three main ways to do this.
Malygos: If you drop Malygos on an empty board, or if it lives a turn, you can deal an incredible amount of damage with the face damaging cards I've chosen to include.
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End: This is used to get back board control, or to give you a lucky win if you need it. (I would DEFINITELY recommend crafting this card.
Big Threats: Dropping 1 or 2 Arcane Giants is a lot to deal with, but if on turn 8, you have used 12 spells or more, you can drop both of the giants PLUS a Ragnaros the Firelord.
This deck has been floating around for a long time, but I think it is especially good in the meta right now and there is not a definitive version on the site.
Just so I don't pour all of my time into this and it goes to waste,
10+ More In-Depth Mulligan guide (Class Specific)
25+ Card Choices, (Bite and Double Nourish, Wisps of the Old Gods for example)
50+ Card Swap-outs based on meta AND a video of me playing the deck explaining how the heckle it works.
Hope you have fun and rank well, see ya on the flip side!
Love the three win conditions, I am so greedy I have added a fourth. I have taken out Wisps of the Old Gods and added in Medivh, the Guardian. Laddering at the moment at 10. Aggro Shaman and Hunter give the most problems.......
I've been using this deck for about 40 matches so far at about 65% win rate. I don't know how efficient Wisps of the Old Gods is, though. Also Yogg has produced wins when I only wanted a board clear, and the arcane giants are insane. Love the deck. 5/7.
V fun deck, and am getting more consistent as I learn to surf the wave of cards, options and power it can sometimes give you. I suffer against out and out face decks, esp hunter, if I can't keep the board relatively clear, otherwise usually have a chance of a fun win if I don't stuff up. Thanks for the deck
I am actually really interested in your reasoning for Bite and Wisps. I'm only running one Nourish and a Mulch for hard removal. I don't have Ragnaros so I'm using Sylvannas in his place. I'm also running Ysera cause Dream cards turn 4 are AMAZING!!
