UPDATE (9/2/16):

Happy Friday!

I have been testing the deck with Prince Malchezaar (in place of Elise Starseeker) and it's been a lot of fun. The only issue with Malchezaar is that the random legendary minions can clog your deck a bit. I tried a bunch of tweaks to counter this and eventually settled upon running 2x Revenge. This gives the deck 6 total board clears (Ravaging Ghoul, Brawl, Revenge). Against aggro decks, Revenge is a complete lifesaver. It greatly increases the chance of drawing a card to counter board flood. Against control decks, it can act as an execute activator or provide the 1 damage needed to make a trade. Overall, Revenge is a great card and cutting out 1x Beckoner of Evil and 1x Acolyte of Pain doesn't seem to hurt the deck at all. I would say from testing that the deck has become even more effective. 

Keep in mind that the decklist is still tentative for the new season. There are definitely improvements to be made. I will keep updating the list as I optimize the deck.

Mulligan Guide

Always keep Fiery War Axe!!! 

 

Against aggro: Beckoner of Evil, Ravaging Ghoul, Disciple of C'Thun, and Slam.

 

Druid: Execute and execute activators like Slam or Ravaging Ghoul. Keeping Beckoner of Evil or Disciple of C'Thun is also OK.

 

Control matchups: Execute + activators, Justicar Trueheart (very good against control warrior decks).

 

Freeze Mage: There are still some freeze mage players on ladder. This deck counters freeze mage very well, but be sure to constantly armor up every turn and minimize the amount of damage you take. Once you drop Ancient Shieldbearer with a 10/10 C'Thun the game is usually over. Even more so if you combo it with Brann Bronzebeard.

Tech Cards

If you are facing a lot of weapons... you can swap an Acolyte of Pain for Harrison Jones. 

 

If you are facing lots of aggro like zoo or face shaman... you can tech in a Revenge, Baron Geddon or even Bash in place of Beckoner of Evil (or any other card that may not be performing well). 

 

The key is to optimally tech the deck to the ever-changing meta.
