This is a low dust, easy way to beat the Heroic Shade of Aran.  The trick is not to attack with any of your minions, to not trigger his secret.  Use spells that are not damage to trigger his counterspells.  There is plenty of removal AOE for his minions, so just keep saving up and using spells to his face.
