I'm Mitsuhide, a competitive hearthstone player from the Netherlands. A while ago I won the online qualifiers for WCA with a self-made dragon n'zoth warrior. The new update included two dragon synergy cards that fit perfectly into the deck I made before, namely: Netherspite Historian and Book Wyrm. These cards are insanely powerful but too reactive to fit into the popular aggressive dragon warrior.
- Netherspite Historian provides a reliable dragon activator and fills your curve (discover is super strong if used correctly!). The 1/3 body isn't bad at all and in control matchups, the chances of getting a valuable minion like ysera/alexstrasza/onyxia/deathwing/deathwing: dragonlord/nefarian are insanely high. It also allows you to get a second Chillmaw to spawn from your N'zoth
- Book Wyrm is just a very good card with an effect comparable to cabal shadowpriest, but less situational. Apart from that it's a good dragon to activate your synergies. It absolutely destroys Twilight Guardians and Imp gang bosses for example
Other parts of the deck are the standard control warrior removal package consisting of Execute, Shield Slam, Shield Block and Brawl. A package which is very strong in the current filled with druid, shaman and zoo. I opted for a slam instead of a bash since it's more flexible to accompany your early and mid game creatures. For the "Flex spot" I decided to run a N'zoth package consisting of Cairne, Sylvanas, (Chillmaw,) and N'zoth to give some more power versus midrange decks like druid. Also because I would run Sylvanas and Chillmaw either way in this meta.
You can follow me on twitter for more decks and talk @ONE_Mitsuhide. Have fun!

P.S. It would be very helpful for future development if you would post your stats in the comments after playing the deck. Thanks!

How good could be to run a Brann Bronzebeard in this deck?
Maybe instead of the slam?
What's the best replacement for Chillmaw? I know nothing will fit the deck as well as him but I just wanna take a subpar version of this deck out for a test drive before I decide to craft him.
Great deck again thanks for this good sir! Only lost to a Shaman and their BALANCED 10 damage with Rockbiter on Doomhammer LUL ?! 1 mana card OP! ENJOY ALL!
This deck needs gorehowl in a bad way and then it could be good
Then make room for a gorehowl. No one's forcing you to play this deck as is.
Ran this exact list for a while, later switched to:
Slam -> Jeweled Scarab
Cairne -> The Curator
Book Wyrm -> Fierce Monkey
Brawl -> Corrupted Seer
N'Zoth -> Brann
So basically lowering the curve/card quality while compensating through Curator and Brann draws. Brann is quite amazing since this deck runs a ton of battlecry effects, most notably the Historian which means 2 extra fat dragons in control matchups. Also tried versions with 2x Bash and Gorehowl, which performed about the same. The winrate seems to stay pretty consistent regardless of variation.
Overall winrate has been 58% thus far after 100+ games. Most matchups are 65-70%, Shaman is 55%, but Hunter is a quite abysmal 35-40% because of how difficult it is to deal with their insane turn 6-9 tempo (and it's very hard to tech against it too).
i really want to play this deck, but guess what, the ladder is full of huntards. and no hardcounters exist for hunters. only a few softcounters that lose to about everything else in the meta.
- cairne - 1 netherspite
+ 2 Bash.
Cairne is quite important for board presence along with giving N'zoth a ton more value (letting it summon another body but also one that "survives" a board clear), and netherspite is too important in a dragon deck for filling out your curve or getting a late game threat against control / midrange matchups that go late.
Keep fiery win axe 100% of the time.
You can keep alexstrasza's champion too (with midgame dragon or mulligan other cards or with win axe).
Ravaging ghoul can be kept against warlock or if you have slam but no win axe vs mage (for wyrm) or if you have win axe vs shaman (totem golem).
Shieldblock + shieldslam can be good but prioritize win axe and alexstrasza, don't keep it unless you have good things already.
Execute can be kept vs druid to counter ramp.
If you have some of the above, keep your curve / removal / brawl (against agressive decks).
There's maybe more to say about mulligan but that should do it.
i switch cairne and nzoth for harrison and ysera and it works fine!
Seems legit as it sounds like that has more control and dragon synergy
OMG... This is the BEST dragon control deck I have ever played. I am 6-0 with it at the moment. That lifecoach, malchezar, and all the other warrior decks can't even compare with the versatility of this one. This deck is insane if you play it right!
W - Lifecoach's #1 legend deck, W - Fatigue Warrior, W - Aggro shaman, W - Tempo / Control mage, W - OTK warrior, W - Beast Hunter
Try to keep a dragon in your hand and hope for the best in your mulligan. Take damage if you have to so you can combo things and you'll be set. Hunters and Fatigue warriors were the hardest match ups for me. The deathrattle combo saved me in the end with the Fatigue warrior and this deck allows constant pressure on the board. For hunters, try to set up a board with 1 taunt and a brawl in hand when the turn comes up. Don't overflood the board right away and just try to keep control.
did you say there was no replacement for Chillmaw? I watched a guy on Twitch go from like 14 to legend with this exact (not saying that this will happen for everyone he had two blocks of streaming time, both around 8 hours each) but it looked really solid and also fun to play....
I was hoping I could just replace with a big threat as you have a chance of landing one twice with the historian? I understand its a crucial card but surely not unplayable without?
It combines a triggered revenge with a big body, taunt and is possibly ressurected by nzoth. I think that makes it very crucial for the deck. It was even played in nzoth warrior without any other dragons just for the body and the ressurect. That should make clear how good it is here.
Chillmaw has the ability of win you games. Specially if you discover a second one with Netherspite Historian. The deck won't function the same without it since it's the only card that has both abilities that make this deck great it's a Dragon and it has deathrattle. The other card that has deathrattle and is a Dragon is Deathwing, Dragonlordbut its a slow card wouldn't recommend it
Cairne you could sub with another deathrattle minion, Infested Tauren or Abomination come to mind.
TLDR: You can sub Cairne but I think Chillmaw is irreplaceable in this deck
Brann Bronzebeard is a considerable replacement for Cairne.
sure, the value of N'zoth is lower, but he has some amazing synergy with Netherspite Historian, Azure Drake and Blackwing Corruptor.
Also buffs Alexstrasza's Champion and Twilight Guardian.
Nice! Not a bad idea! I'm loving this deck
What? 0-12 is terrible.
