This is a deck I have been using for the past couple of months in Warrior.  I noticed a few people are beginning to institute some of the concepts so I decided to do a proper writeup.

There are lots of weapons to combo with Violet Illusionist for board clearing.  We have the Karazan card, Fool's Bane, to pair plus the standard Fiery War Axe.  Arathi Weaponsmith brings a 2/2 weapon to the table and Upgrade is there for a buff.

I never play Upgrade alone.  Always use the buf feature especially when clearing the board.

Now the main concept, buf.

I was always annoyed playing and playing against warrior when people would use a card like Whirlwind damaging their minions but not receiving anything in return.  To me, you should get something in return for taking damage outside of clearing your opponents minions or setting up for Execute.

What I brought to the table was using cards like Ravaging Ghoul, Whirlwind, and Tentacle of N'Zoth to buf cards like Axe Flinger and Frothing Berserker as combos.  When you get Flinger and Berserker out on the board and then play any of the 1 damage cards it creates a quick mana buf especially if your opponent is playing a murloc deck.

Protect the King is used as a blocking card until you can get the Fool's Bane/Violet Illusionist combo ready to clear the board.

Prince Malchezaar is added to give the deck some spice through the five legendary cards although you can replace this card for something like a Grommash Hellscream.

Obsidian Destroyer is used as a late game blocking card with the 1/1 taunt.  Distract an opponent for a turn or two while you setup your combos.

My biggest concern when playing is not having enough draw but I have found the deck to do well.

The key concept is using the cards that damage your warrior minions to buf those minions that have Enrage, +1 attack on damage, or 2 damage the hero.  Using those cards to buf minions is not a concept I have seen used much in warrior.

Open to suggestions.
