UPDATE #2 - LINK TO ORIGINAL DECK GUIDE BY @TomaszHS : Link Removed: https://www.good-gaming.com/guide/471

Congratulations to @TomaszHS for getting #4 Legend with this deck yesterday...over 300 matches played with a total win rate over 60%

PROOF ==> 60.2% Win Rate (215 - 142)

Matchup Statistics (215 - 142)

All credit for this meta-crushing deck goes to @TomaszHS, who I believe is posting a full writeup with stats later today. n0blord was impressed with the deck and commented on its potential:

This is the list, I'll be doing a writeup today and posting it on comphs tomorrow:https://twitter.com/tomaszHS/status/785564606336950272

That looks like a solid list. When unsure about the strength of a deck, we err on the side of caution until it has proven itself. There were no refined Secret Hunter lists post CotW nerf, and the only person who played the deck seriously and posted results publicly was NickChipper on his climb to legend, but it was decided that the Face Hunter list was a better iteration. Your list, on the other hand, greatly shifts the matchups based off your tech choices and makes it a worthwhile standalone deck. I'm pretty sure we'll have this higher on future snapshots now that we have a proven list :)

Hi n0blord, thanks for the reply :). I actually finished my write up on the list as well, it will be published on the website I write for today so I'll be posting it to comphs either tonight or tomorrow, so you guys can use that as a reference for matchup strengths/weaknesses and whatnot if you like. Here's a screencap of my winrates in the mean time: http://imgur.com/a/x6Yt0

About 250 of those wins are at top100 legend, and the rest are from my week 1 grind rank5-legend, so I think it's a very accurate representation of the deck against competent players.

Ill definitely use those for reference for relative winrates, but I wouldn't exactly call people competent especially early season and during the offseason when many serious players are relaxing / only doing tourney prep. For example, during the August season, which was only semi competitive because it only mattered for people trying for last call, I maintained a 70% winrate with druid for about 150 games to finish top 10 on NA/EU servers. The winrate is almost certainly inflated because you're playing well / your opponents are not, but I can tell when a list "makes sense" (I'm not particularly good at building lists myself) and the direction your list went definitely has potential :)

Yeah that's a fair point. I did seem to have favorable winrates against strong players like Sjow, Muzzy, Flamingobuns, Hotform, NaviOOT, and others though. Granted, it certainly isn't a competitive season like you said, and the sample size against those particular players isn't large enough to be super relevant.

My point was more that this isn't like, a sample size of just rank 5-legend, or rank 10-legend that often gets posted to comphs. The majority of my games were against players competent enough to hit legend week 1 which certainly puts them in a competitive bracket on a relative basis (since lets be honest, most people are bad at this game lol). Also, the sample size seems appropriate for a "meta-snapshot", being that this is 350 games against the current legend meta :P.

Barnes Synergy: Only 1 bad pull from Barnes is getting Harrison. For me, having a 1-in-12 chance of getting a vanila 1-1 is worth the weapon removal & card-draw. Second worst is Tundra Rhino which is good if you have beasts on board. Getting Ragnaros flat out wins games....Savannah Highmane is one of the most common pulls and it causes a huge tempo swing when played on T4.

"You win this one, Friend" My favorite thing about this deck is how it remains so consistent while having the perfect answers to every move your opponent makes. I LOVE getting midrange shamans to concede when I coin out Snipe to hit Totem Golem on T2, drop another Snipe during my T4 to hit Azure Drake, then remove Spirit Claws with Harrison T5, and finally hit their Thing From Below and/or Thunder Bluff Valiant with Freezing Trap!

Update: Guide was posted to r/CompetitiveHS, but got deleted for linking to a site requiring registration. Only was able to find a Japanese version and not sure if it's the same content. I will edit this post to link to his guide as soon as it's available.

Cheers!
