Greetings, travellers, I'm Subrezon, a german legend player. I love creativity in deckbuilding, and I always try something new, and try to make it work. Before the release of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan I will try to fry up a deck for each class that I think has potential AND might be competitive. Up next: the everybody's favourite, Jade Druid.

What is this deck?
Druid now has 2 things that can make an ultimate control deck: infinite value and ultimate fatigue damage block, and both of them in one single card: Jade Idol. Druid's healing is alright: Moonglade Portal and Feral Rage do the job. On the boardclear department not everything is that shiny, especially against things like N'Zoth, the Corruptor, but against aggro Wrath, Swipe and Baron Geddon should suffice.

EDIT: now that we know that Jade Golem mechanic is more tempo/value-centric and can be played in a Spell Druid shell, I abandoned the "control" idea to go full-on, balls-out combos of Jade Golems.

Why this deck?
The community has been going crazy ever since the announcement of Jade Idol, and I thought that this is the most promising card for Druid in MSoG.

Is it going to be "a deck" upon release?
It depends wholly on how good the Jade Golems are. This is the strongest pure Jade Golem deck, and potentially a Tier 1 deck if the mechanic carries. YES IT IS A GOOD DECK

UPDATE #1:
Playing with, against and beside (as in spectating friends) this deck has shown a couple things:
- It is best when played in a Spell Druid shell.
- Adding Barnes is OP, especially when you cut Arcane Giants and add Gadgetzan Auctioneers, but the Giants are critical to winning the mirror. This balance is very important.
- Gadget is OP if you have thinned out your deck
- Jade Behemoth is a lot better than I thought, very solid card.
- Fandral Staghelm, played or Barnes'ed in, is the optimal way of using Jade Idol.
As a result I pretty much rebuilt the deck from scratch, and did so around Barnes. He just autowins games when he doesn't whiff. This is the best decklist I could come up with.

So, I hope you enjoyed this one, so stay tuned for more! Don't forget to drop a +1 and to check out all of Subrezon's Theorycraft Series!
