Hi there! I´m Andree59 and this is one of the deck with which I am Legend # 1 this season. I'll be glad for all the comments and FollowMe.
First, I would like to invite you to a new group for WILD players. You can share your decks, consulting a metagame, share your games and discovering other lovers of this format. The group is here.
Match ups:
From my statistics, you can see that most played Wild decks are Pirates Warrior, Priest control / dragon, Anyfin Paladin and Aggro / Mid Shaman. I have a positive winrate with all of these. Other classes are not so strong in this metagame and you can lose only with a bad draw. Only Jade druid is big problem.
Favorable match up – Patron warrior, Freeze mage, Zoo, Aggro shaman, Tempo warrior, classic control warrior, Tempo mage, Mech mage, Secret Paladin, Deathrattle Hunter, Anyfin Paladin
50/50 match up – Reno Warlock. Reno mage, Priest control, Priest dragon, Miracle rogune
Slightly unfavorable match up (maybe 40/60) – Midrange shaman, Malygos Druid
Unfavorable match up – Jade Druid
Description of deck:
Reno priest is currently Tier1 wild deck and in my opinion Nzoth version is the best. The deck has a slow start against the midrange and Renolock decks. Against these decks win mainly due to stronger late game, using deathrattle cards (+Nzoth) and Brann + Kazakus + Brewmaster. Against aggro decks win by using the incredible healing, killing many and Reno (fucking) Jackson. The only big weakness is Jade druid. It depends how quickly he will be a great jaids. You must save as many killings in the late game and try to maximize pressure from the start of the game.
Key card and the individual match ups:
Pirates warrior - mulligan for Reno, Ooze, Mistress, Dirty rat, Doomslayer. In this game you are trying to stabilize the board and force him to throw out all the cards and destroy them by global destruction. Kazakus looking mostly 5 Costs potion global destruction + armor. Somewhere you are looking for only one potion costs of global destruction / target destruction + armor. Anyway kazakus is played alone and no with Brann.
Anyfin Paladin - mulligan for classic early cards + Always keep Entomb, Kazakus. In this game are key cards Brann, Kazakus, Belcher, Entomb, Shifting shade, Deathlord, Museum curator. An important part of the game is to have as many taunts creatures which play at a critical time against the second Anyfin combo. Through a museum curator search for particular Deathlord or Belcher or possibly Shifting shade (it's nice to get Tirion or Anyfin). In the late game before the second anifin combo will play nzoth or two taunts and then use lightbomb or dragonfire potion. If you do not need Dr.boom not play because of his bombs will block taunts cards while playing Nzoth. The key card is Kazakus you're trying to always take transform minions (from 5 or 10 cost potion). Why keep Entombs? Because you can steal Murloc Warleader and drastically reduce the chances of his winning. Brann can be used both with and Kazakus a Museum curator.
Reno decks (Lock,Mage,Priest) - mulligan for classic early cards. In this game are key cards Brann, Kazakus, Nzoth, Cleric. There must effectively trade and seek to control board. If you play combo with three Kazakus effects usually win the game. Here with kazakus take cost 10 potion with the effects of global destruction + summon something or summon something + 6 minions heal. If the opponent is playing Nzoth version always take transform all the minions. Important combo is also Dirty rat + Doomslayer or even Dirty Rat + Brann if you have a clear. They often discard their kazakus, Jaraxxus, Leeroy combo or Reno Jackson.
Aggro/Midrange shaman - mulligan for classic early cards + Escavated evil, Reno Jackson and both Shadow worlds. Here you often do not know what you're playing against. It is easier to play against aggro Shaman where you destroy the initial pressure and heal back. Against Midrange shaman you must all the time to play around bloodlust. First of all you must get a quick boardcontrol and card advantage. From kazakus you always want 5 cost potion and search global clear. Shadow Word: Death you always keep against Faceless and dont use it against Below.
If you want to add other games just write in the comments. I chose only the most interesting.
Replacements:
The deck seems consistent at the moment and I would not change any cards. If you want to replace a card in your comments, and I'll be adding advice.
Raza the chained - This card is very good but belong to the category of cards that are not completely necessary. Replacements can be Cairne, Azure drake, Second rate bruiser.
You can try my other decks:
Renolock - The deck that I used most of the season
Aggo Shaman - If you want to go face and no trade
MalygosLock - Currently my best deck
RenoPriest - Funniest deck
Kind of considering swapping out youthful, currently deciding between Kabal Courier Kabal Talonpriest or Mana Geode. Thoughts on which one would be best?
Fantastic !!!
Hi Andree,
This is my first season in Wild ranked mode.
Just few words to say how your build is awesome. After some struggles mostly due to my lack of xp in Wild, I went from rank 20 to rank 13 in few games with a winrate of 66+.
Thanks a lot.
HF & GG
Do you have a replacement for Lightbomb? That would be great, thanks!
Thank you for this deck. Used it to hit rank 6 legend last season. I changed Dirty Rat with Kabal Courier. Dirty Rat is a great card, but it can be very hard to play in aggro matchups.
So I crafted Raza and took this to battle. Lost 0-3 to shaman, patron warrior and murlocadin to fall down from 17 to 18. What a start to a new season. Wouldn't recommend crafting this deck really because climbing with a dragon priest in standard is way cheaper faster and more steady.
It´s a hard deck to play. It requires some practice to master. Patron warrior should be an easy matchup if you use your board clears correctly.
Why no zombie chow?
What do you think of replacing Dr. Boom with Confessor Paltress? Also, are there enough spells for Preist of the Feast to get value? Maybe replacing Northshire Cleric with Holy Smite would work? I don't often find a need for much card draw with Reno Preist. Finally, what do you think about subbing Shifting Shade with Infested Tauren. I find I don't like the RNG much for Shifting Shade and Infested Tauren can be great against Agro. Another taunt to be resummoned by N'Zoth can also be really helpful in preventing lethal. I'm not sure if missing the extra two attack is that important though. What do you think, Andree? As always, thanks for posting all your great ideas for decks. Super helpful.
anywhere to fit eater of secrets?
thanks
This deck is great... i went from rank 25 to 8 in 3 days, would be nice if there was a guide... i had to switch out cards and figure it out as i went along cuz didnt know your reasoning for some of the cards, and felt a bit more comfortable with others. also does anyone know a good way to take out jade druids with this deck. its the only one i have trouble with.
You have well over 20 likes! Let's see that promised guide!
raza the chained replacements?
Nice deck, thanks! If you find the time I would be very much looking forward for a guide or your thoughts on the match ups. Started playing a modified list since I don't have all the cards. One question, what are you targeting with Kabal Songstealer? I can't really see the utility of the card against the decks I encounter the most (Pirate Warrior, mid-range Shaman, Dragon Priest, Renolock)
Thanks for the reply! I also had a look at your other decks and have been having a lot of success with this Priest list and the Aggro Shaman. Thanks a lot for taking the time to upload your decklists, it's really helpful :)
Amazing deck. Crazy fun to play!
