My S33 Control Warrior still doing big things. Thanks and enjoy! Still climbing 2/7/17. No Forsen didn't create this deck he's just my dad. Stay thirsty my friends! 50 VOTES!! Thanks guys and gals!
Updated list with a few different cards for more consistency across the board*
Tips
Turn 7 Dirty Rat, Brawl combo is effective
Try to have an answer for any possibility that Dirty Rat may throw at you. IE your removals.
As far as mulligans it's pretty much your standard control warrior. Control the board with your weapons and removals. Keep Fiery War Axe. If you suspect aggro it's ok to keep a Ravaging Ghoul. If you have coin and you suspect aggro you can keep your taunts in hand.
Against Pirate Warrior, in addition to Fiery War Axe, keep Revenge as your health may drop fast if the roll into a sexy curve. Bashs are good to keep also

I want to thank the community and comments for keeping Control Warrior viable, and continued support for keeping this deck around. Please post your stories and games on your trip to Legend as we continue to climb the ranks! Keep up the Control!
Thanks, feel free to sub in Sleeping with the fishes in there. It's a decent card. Also try out my silence priest deck. It's doing big things this season. Thanks again!
It makes it harder for sure. Justicar is a staple in this control warrior deck unfortunately. You can try replacing with another card of your choice to see how you fair. Good luck my friend
I'm going to try this one.
I've noticed a similar question before - about Ysera. Should I, or not? I have the dust, drafted her in arena (surprisingly fun card), but I also have replacements (Deathwing, Baron Geddon), so I'm just wandering if she's actually worth it.
I usually don't tell people to craft or not to craft a card but in this case, I'd have to say it's 100% worth it. She can be used in multiple decks and is a really strong body card. If you still don't feel like pulling the trigger then Baron Geddon is a decent replacement. lemme know how it works for you, thanks!
Wellllll I didn't craft anything lately, I'm sitting on 1,6k dust and like 20 golden cards and some useless legendaries (Auctionmaster Beardo - I'm looking @ u lol...) and it's been itching me to try Ysera. Thing is, I should be saving up for april rotation, but then again I got better in arena, so it might not be a problem.
I'll sleep over with and probably gonna hit that "craft" button ;)
You won't regret it
Very good deck, got 8-0 winstreak from r6 to r4. Good old new Control War.
Jade druids are pain in the ass.
Yeah dude it's a pain in the ass. Have to have some Brawl lottos sadly. It's just a bad match up for us
Pirate Warrior, Aggro Shaman, Dragon Priest are all favored matchups. Renolock is 50/50, and Reno Mage is dependent on how good your Elise is, ususally. Both variations of Druid are heavily unfavored, but I will gladly take that one unwinnable matchup in exchange for better game vs aggro.
Agreed!
My favorite card this expansion. Glad your winning!
Does this deck lose much if I play it without Ysera ?
And what replacements would you suggest ?
Ysera is just a very nice late game card with a big body. I wouldn't say it's a necessity in this deck. Try and replace it with any other big bodied late game card. There really isn't a similar card for her. Depending on what your going up against mostly just try and put in a card to help with the meta. Alex/Grom always your key combo for this deck.
Well, guess I'll try Baron Geddon I really chose him just cause i don't have any other big late game cards that are not already in this list.
Yeah Baron's good. He was in the original deck list
Just played and i have to say this deck is legit ! Glad to see that CW is still a viable archetype. Thanks for your work, man
Glad to see it's working out for you. Continue the climb sir and let me know how it goes with what your facing. Thanks again for your support!
Not a bad idea, I guess just try and make sure they use their heavy removals on other things and you'll be golden!
Right. It's extremely helpful in this deck. Sub in a solid card of your choice and let me know how it works out for you and what you used instead. Thanks Joku
