Hello, my name is Serenity, I'm a casual hearthstone player from NA here to present you my personal take on a Aggro Shaman deck.
Mulligans and Matchups:
Warrior
Mulligan really hard for the Maelstrom Portal and Jade Claws, Spirit Claws are pretty good too, any one drop is a keep. If you're going second, sometimes coining out the Jade claws just to kill a pirate is worth it, even if you have to skip your turn two.
Warlock
Standard combo mulligan, Tunnel Trogg into a Totem Golem, Small Time Buccaneer, and Sir Finley Mrrrgglton are a keep too. You're on a time limit here if he's playing Renolock (He probably is). He has nothing against a Turn 4 Faceless, as most people don't run Blastcrystal Potion in Renolock, at least in my experiences (Comments give meh insight plz).
Shaman
Shaman: Ugh mirror matchups, mulligan for Small-Time Buccaneer, Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Jade Claws, and a Lightning Bolt. Sometimes keeping a Maelstrom Portal is worth it to to shut down pirates. Jade claws are nice for the small-time buccaneer, this matchup is all about who gets the better draw and who can squeeze out more tempo. Pray he doesn't run hex if you plop down the Faceless.
Rogue
Feral Spirits, Totem Golem, Tunnel Trogg, Small-Time Buccaneer. Feral Spirits are REALLY nice and try to kill him fast, his Auctioneer turns are pretty bullshit, and you don't have much of a way to deal with a huge vancleef. Try to bait out saps before using your Flamewreathed Faceless.
Priest
Prepare to get your ass fucked, cause this guys got a shit ton of aoe (COUGH COUGH DRAGONFIRE POTION COUGH COUGH). Mulligan for standard (Jade Claws, Tunnel Trogg, Small-time Buccaneer, Totem Golem)
Paladin
Sir Finley, Small-Time, Trogg, and Totem Golem, Ferals are a really nice addition. They also can't deal with a Flamewreathed Faceless so that may be an option.
Mage
Small-time, Totem Golem, Tunnel Trogg, and a Faceless. nuff said. Oh and if they're playing reno mage, ur kinda fcked.
Hunter
Cheap and Cancerous, just like us. Totem Golem, Jade Claws, Tunnel Trogg, Small-time Buccaneer. Flamewreathed Faceless is a keep too as no one runs deadly shot or hunters mark.
Druid
Get a good start and the game is yours, Feral Spirits are nice, Totem Golem, Trogg, and Small-time Buccaneer are a keep. Watch out for his Azure Drake as Swipe with it is pretty bull. Try to close the game out early.
TLDR; Keep Totem Golem, Small-time Buccaneer, and Tunnel Trogg. Keep Feral for Aggro and Midrange Matchups and Flamewreathed Faceless for Control Matchups, or when you know they can't remove it.
Only struggling with priest, so far went 9/2 still going, very nice deck :)
We just go face a little more, nothing much.
what are your thoughts on including Doomhammer in this list?
I guess you could put it in, but you would also have to put in rockbiters, as doom hammer just isn't the same without it. I personally tried running a burn heavy list with doomhammer and the rockbiters, but more minions are just much better. If you insist though, you can take out the JInyu for the doomhammer and one Lava Burst and one Feral for the double rockbiter.
What is your rationale behind Jinju Waterspeaker? Is it typically used to heal a Flamewreathed Faceless? Doesn't seem like its in the aggro spirit.
good deck cheers m8
Thanks. Glad to be of service.
