GUIDE IS A WIP

One of my favorite decks to play. Very fun although hard to pilot. This combines the power of inner fire/divine spirit OTKs with the Velen spell damage OTKs. Name inspired by unicorn priest.

This deck is meant to either gain board control in the first 2 turns and keep it using removal spells or relinquish it and survive until turns 5-8 using removal spells where you can begin to contest it. Generally you will want to stall the game until your opponent runs out of steam and you have a massive card advantage. The win conditions for this deck are Velen into mind blast or other burst spells or a divine spirit x2 inner fire combo.

Mulligans: You generally want to mulligan for a northshire cleric which will allow you to gain card draw early on. Another good card to keep is power word shield as playing that on your northshire will allow you to keep it alive longer and gain more card draw.

Card Uses:

Power Word Shield and Kabal talonpriest can be used to allow minions to trade without dying and also work well with your divine spirit inner fire combo.

Power Word tentacles  is extremely powerful in this deck as it allows you to trade into other minions and works well with your inner fire combo.

Combos:

Auchenai+circle of healing is an extremely powerful AOE board clear for 4 mana leaving you with a 3/1 on the board

Divine spirit+Divine spirit+Inner Fire one of your win conditions and finishing moves. Can be combined with power word tentacles for a pretty nasty 10 mana combo. Or, with power word shield for a cheaper but very potent combo.

Mind Blast+Mind blast+Holy Fire  10 mana deal 15 damage one of your finishing moves to burst people down. With Velen it does 30 damage and with velen and evolved kobold it does 42.

Auchenai+Flash heal 5 mana deal 5 damage can be used with Velen or other burst cards for OTK or for removal.
