From rank 2 to legend with 12-2 score easy pizzy!! Then climbed from 2.5k legend to 700
Enjoy!!
thats very naive of you and i can only assume you are like a rank 25-20 player, OR just a casual player. ive won more games than lost with pirate warrior so far, i dont knw the percentage though
I just played my first game of the season. The moment I played [card]Small-Time Buccaneer[/card] I went straight from Rank 15 to top 50 Legend instantly. This deck is magical!
I thinks Questing Adventurer is very strong in current meta, It rekts reno decks because they cant remove all your threats (Edwin, Adventurers, Tomb Pillagers and Auctioneers) So is Violet Teacher better than Adventurer?
this deck is very promising so far 0-0 call me lucky but i just single-handedly smoked a renolock and a dragon priest (which i normally lose to with rogue jade or something) and im instantly finding pleasure with this deck. also had to tech in beneath the grounds instead of shaku because i dont have him (counters kazakus and reno so why not? a harmless tech :P)
tl;dr 2-0 so far against two VERY STRONG meta decks thanks for the post <333
replacements for shaku? x)
TL;DR This deck took me from Rank 4 (with no stars) to legend with a 73% win-rate. I went 18-3 vs. shaman and I definitely recommend this deck for anyone who is looking to climb the ladder with rogue. Proof and stats. https://imgur.com/a/YVdr9
I was having a hard time climbing the ladder at Rank 2 because I was trying to use popular decks that I didn't love, like Aggro Shaman. I kept tilting and bouncing back to Rank 4 or 5. I was starting to get genuinely upset until I had a breakthrough two days ago. I was having my birthday dinner at Red Lobster and I was really happy visiting with family and we had a great time, I realized that I was happy and at peace for the first time in a few days. Hearthstone was definitely starting to be unhealthy for me and I decided that I would play a deck that I love and adapt it to the meta instead and forget about the climb to legend since it was making me so upset and unhappy.
My favorite deck was definitely Miracle Rogue. The problem was that the version I was running with Questing Adventurer kept losing to shamans. So I did some research and looked at several different versions, this one was similar to SuperJJ's deck he ran in a tournament recently which can be seen here https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/superjjs-shaku-miracle-rogue-zagreb-gaming-arena-january-2017/ and was also similar to the version both MrYagut and Xzirez were running, which used SI:7 instead of Questing Adventurer so I decided to try it out. I also decided to write down my stats so that I could see that I have a positive win-rate and would not get upset after losing a game since I would be able to I just won two games before that.
I had the easiest and most fun climb to legend I've ever seen. I wasn't even trying for legend until I was halfway into Rank 2, and it only took 7 games, going 6-1, at Rank 1 to hit legend! In my experience, this deck can fight Aggro Shaman for the board much better than the one running Conceal and Questing Adventurer and still has a positive win-rate against control decks as well.
Thank you so much for sharing this deck. It made the climb to legend such a fun experience and I really do feel like I learned a lot, not only about Hearthstone, but also about how to have fun playing a game I love instead of letting it affect me in a negative and unhealthy way. I'm super grateful and will be recommending this deck to anyone looking to play rogue on the ladder. I hope you continue to have success with your decks, I'll definitely be looking out for them in the future!
Happy for you! :)
The stuff you wrote about facing Shamans is good insight, as I'm running a similar decks with 2x Questing and 2x Conceal + Barnes, which is strong, but bad draws and heavy aggro gets me r3kt. After trying to swap decks I've started tilting like crazy and dropped constructed (started Arena and dl'd Gwent, lul). I don't really wanna play cancer decks, so that's not an option.
Cool to hear it works, gonna try it myself :)
looks like a normal miracle rogue except no bloodmage but violet teacher, doesn't mean it is bad tho.
Proof
whats a decent replacement for shaku? huckster, harvest golem, acolye? jeweled scarab maybe for chance to discover? just ideas
Earthen Ring Farseer
Properly placed Shaku is insane. If you get him on T3 and then T4 Pillager, then as long as your opponent doesn't dominate the board, might have a hard time choosing what to remove. For me he usually draws more than one card (some games even three), so it's useful.
