I want to start off by saying that playing this deck has been the most fun I've had since standard was announced. Why, you wonder?

1. Pirates? Yes. Cancer? Not really!

2. Kor'kron Elite is the only card in the entire deck that doesn't synergize with anything. Hearthstone is fun because of either synergies or RNG effects, but the difference between synergy and RNG is that synergy doesn't fuck you over as easily!

3. It's rather rare to have a bad mulligan with this deck, which is one of the most frustrating things in hearthstone.

4. Finja, the Flying Star. Oh my. I don't think I've ever been as satisfied with the performace of a card I've spent dust on as I was with her. The tempo you get from the murlocs summoning is just so devastating... but for the opponent!

5. Zoobot and Menagerie Magician. These cards are what the opponent probably least expects. You setup a board with a Faerie Dragon, Huge Toad, Bluegill Warrior and your opponent ignores it by playing a fatty or going face? Get punished. You play Finja, the Flying Star and your opponent plays a minion with a higher HP? Get destroyed.

This is probably the first deck I've played that contains so many tribes and is still able to pull it off. I love it, and you will too! Try it out and leave your opinion here!

RECENT CHANGES:

5/3: -x2Small-Time Buccaneer +N'Zoth's First Mate +Sir Finley Mrrgglton ¤ After the devastating Small-Time Buc nerf, I find him too bad to be a part of this deck. Therefore, I am currently running two First Mates to see if two pirates are enough to trigger Patches. For the second Small-Time Buc slot, I am currently tring out Finley, because 1. He's a solid 1-drop and 2. Almost every other hero power fits for this deck. Finley slightly ruins the synergy between Finja and the murlocs, but that is of course another thing to try out and see. If it works out well, I will obviously keep it this way. If it doesn't, I will try to change something again. I encourage everyone to try their own replacement for the 1-slot though, to truly find the correct one. Cheers!

28/2: -N'Zoth's First Mate +Ragnaros the Firelord ¤ Whenever you start running out of fuel and slowly approach the top deck mode, drawing this 1/1 pirate sucks. Also, we needed a finisher if Finja or Drakonid Crusher can't do the deed, and Rag fits perfectly.

-Zoobot +Menagerie Magician ¤ After playing this deck for 50+ games, I realized that Zoobot doesn't do enough. We only have the pirates on turn 1, which means that only 1 minion gets buffed at its best (assuming we think curvewise). I added the Magician because it has a larger buff and it's more consistent because you play a Fierce Monkey on turn 3 and a Twilight Guardian on turn 4. The dragons high health makes it sticky, and sometimes the monkey manages to survive aswell. This grants us two fat minions, and even if only the dragon survives, a 5/7 is better than whatever Zoobot buffs. Additionally, Finja gets a bigger buff which lets you kill off minions more consistently with her.
