Though id add this is a budget deck without expansions so as you can imagine there's lots of room for improvement with cards such as brann etc etc
Possible changes/upgrades
2x Dark Arakkoa -> 2x Ancient of War or Bog Creeper
1x Druid of the Claw -> 1x Aya Blackpaw
1x Druid of the Claw -> 1x Fandral Staghelm
not facing weapons much 1x Acidic Swamp Ooze -> 1x Raven Idol or Brann Bronzebeard
thought id say thanks for all the upvotes guys will get some screenies in of my current push with what the decks capable of over the next few days
Edit Small update https://gyazo.com/ee57cc1558f2cdc5d3355466e7e936b1 current rank so far seems to be doing ok for early season will keep updating the grind
I am using it with the Aya and 2 ancients of war as he recommended
I think Arcane Giant is a better option than Dark Arakkoa since there is no synergy for that card in this deck. I feel like since the meta has slowed down Arcane Giant is okay and that card is much more mana efficient and synergises well with this deck
HELLO?? budgetttt deck in title like really?
But you get Arcane Giant for free from the ONiK adventure. I still don't have enough dust for Fandral Staghelm yet, even though I am not F2P.
you get from an adventure... you can be f2p and still have adventures.
what do you spend your gold on? when a new adventure comes out, you save that gold for it. 700 gold takes a week, maybe 2 if you do the daily quests
I'm aware that this is a budget deck and some people might not have TLoE, but Brann Bronzebeard is a really good addition to this. I have a decently budgeted jade druid deck myself (since I can't afford Aya Blackpaw or 2x Ancient of War), and this might be lacking a big removal. Big Game Hunter and Mulch might be too expensive for some like me, but Naturalize is a good substitute, and often can help mill reno decks and handlock. Otherwise, this deck seems like a solid build to me. The 2x Dark Arakkoa is obviously out of place, and in my opinion is what I would substitute for other cards (despite taunts being really helpful against aggro and handbuff) Post stats when you can
what should i swap for brann?
Aside from the 2x Dark Arakkoa, you could also replace an innervate for something you like. When I ran two innervates, one would often get wasted during a crazy Gadetzan Auctioneer turn or lategame where i didn't need +10 mana.
Brann Bronzebeard is such a unique and pivotal card that I can't imagine replacing it in a jade deck. Assuming you don't have it you could make additions according to your play style or opponents you are facing. But do note that these often don't come close to the value Brann Bronzebeard could give you. The only things I could imagine is Moonglade Portal if you are going against aggro, since it heals and gives you a minion on the board (not many bad six mana minions either, save for that 1/1 minion that summons a 6/6). If you don't have One Night in Karazhan, then that's kinda toughluck. Another is Addled Grizzly if you like to combo out your jades in quick bursts. The best possible replacements, in my opinion, is Mire Keeper or Darnassus Aspirant to help you ramp out. Mire Keeper would be the best of the two, since it lets you ramp or put two minions on the board depending on your situation
I had the same issue! Always forgetting how many idols I had left, eventually I started taking a tally.. Helped me a lot!
Deck Trackers obviously help, but the best way to do go about it is by remembering if you have played a Jade Idol already. If the answer is no, then you summon a golem, and if the answer is yes, then you reshuffle. It gets a bit confusing when you start chaining with Nourish and Gadgetzan Auctioneer, but you should generally be conservative in those situations unless you are ABSOLUTELY 99% POSITIVE you can gain an advantage and increase your chances of winning through summoning
I've seen a few so called "Budget Jade Druid decks" This one seems to be one of the better ones I've seen.
As @Dledger1989 said, it's a good build for newer players into hearthstone.
+1
Played a lot of budget Jade Druid, would also recommend Bog Creeper as a good budget replacement for Ancient of War
What rank have you gotten with it?
There is no need for remembering how many jade idols you have in a deck. I was playing jade shaman on rank 7 and I think that you should try playing it more natural way just approximately know what you played, more than counting all cards.
in the write up. He said now its like 10 or something
