I wanted to make a deck specifically wrapping around adapting Silver Hand Recruits, but I found an even better type of deck. Aggressive adaptation of one health minions! As you can see, the focus is to push out damage as fast as possible either through swarm or through divine shield buffs, which eventually lead into damage buffs! I think if I am to change anything, it would be to remove Grimestreet Informant and add a Blood Knight!
What about Vinecleaver? Does it fit?
Well guys sorry to say that but this deck is just a big load of shit. I created this deck with a little dust cause I got most of the cards but wtf how can someone even post this fucking deck here?
I played like 15 games and literally lost 10 games in play mode (right not even ranked) why? Cause this deck is TRASH!
All the time you wait for that ONE card you need to make this deck work in any way. I rly dont get the point of this deck sorry. You loose against any aoe damage you loose against any aggro decks and you loose against all controll decks whats the fucking point? How can you call that an aggro deck? If you lucky enough (1 of 10 games) to adapt your palys (if youre lucky enough to let them survuive and if youre lucky enogh to get a card to call 2 or 5 of them) then you might have a chance but thats it.
Im pissed give me the fucking dust back for this peace of shit deck. Thanks bye
I would consider adding Blood Knight. I run it in my own div shield budget deck (also posted here if you want to have a look).
It represents a potential win condition in basically any deck where Steward comes out by ~turn 5, or so I've found. You might also consider another cheap 5 with Grimestreet Enforcer...it's a snowball card. If you can maintain board control up to its turn and push out a div shield on to it, the chances that it will make it two or more turns is pretty high. It's really hard to overstate how difficult it can be for ANY deck to deal with buffed stewards, an effectively pre-buffed Blood Knight, or god forbid a FW who comes out of your hand with +2/2. It's very easy to push out a 9/9 FW, 6/6 BK, and have a Blessing of Kings just waiting to buff in one turn under the right conditions.
...there are still dangers to any midbuff deck. Hex, Brawl, Poly...of course. But it's often worth the risk to push out a big minion on turn 6 or 7 in order to force a response.
Like I said, it's REALLY a nuisance for just about any deck to have to deal with buffed Stewards and pre-buffed BK.
Looks more midrange than aggro based on the mana curve. But I might give it a try; I like the synergy here.
Also, nice deck name ;)
Its probably because I suck but I can't understand this deck.
Could you give a guide for complete beginners?
Really fun deck, and way better than it looks on paper. You can finish games by turn 5-6 with good draw and adapt choices, and the combo potential with recruits gives you a surprising amount of longevity if you don't get lucky and the game drags on.
I agree with what others have said about Noble Sacrifice not really fitting into the deck (although the combo with Steward of Darkshire is hilarious). I wonder if Equality would be a good fit - I feel like it would vastly improve the matchup against Taunt Warrior and help out with taunts in general.
As others have said, I look forward to seeing the non-budget version of this deck. I doubt it'll ever be a tier 1 deck, but the recruit adaptation mechanic is way more fun than I expected.
Really enjoyed playing this deck mate, won 5 out of 6.
I swapped out Nobel Sacrafice for Sunkeeper Tarim
Hopefully You'll get time to do un upgraded version, as I'd like to give that a bash
I got a Sunkeeper Tarim from a card pack, any room for him in here? I also don't have Ivory Knight, any replacements? I think Lay on Hands would be good.
I made this deck honestly to help bring newer players in this game who might not be able to afford Sunkeeper Tarim yet, but I have a deck list I will post shortly that slightly mimics this deck!
Ivory Knight is a card I did highly recommend for this only because of the double effect of it: Healing and Discover. Both of these are limited in this deck since you have so much aggression, but I would agree with putting in a Lay on Hands and even another Grimestreet Informant.
Let me know what you think! Thanks for discussing! :)
I'm considering getting the first wing of Karazhan for the ivory knight and I think it has the swashbuckler. I'm a f2p player actually, and I got the Sunkeeper Tarim from the 8 packs.
I would recommend Lay on Hands and another Grimestreet Informant just to keep up the discovery aspect and possibly get more sustain! Thanks for discussing!
This is really fun to play and I just went 12-0 my first time using it.
Seven of those games went to 10+ mana and I basically just outlasted the opponent, taking damage and keeping the board as clear as possible until I could combo out lots of knights to bubble/adapt. (Sounds boring maybe, but it was actually really fun strategizing around what cards to keep for later combos and which ones to "waste" to stall.) One game I won on Turn 5 with a Turn-3 Steward of Darkshire, Turn-4 coined Stand Against Darkness, and a Turn 5 Lightfused Stegodon using the Flaming Claws adaptation (+3 attack). And one amazing game vs a Warrior brought me down to 1 health, then Ivory Knight for 8 health (selected Dinosize), and then Ivory Knight again for 8 more health by selecting Lay on Hands, which I used the following turn. Adapted knight rush the next couple turns for the win.
I do agree that Noble Sacrifice hasn't been very useful so far. I think I used it three times total because I had the 1 mana at turn's end, so no real strategy in its use (no syncing with Steward) and everyone played around it anyway. I didn't try any replacements though since I was on a fun streak. Maybe... Competitive Spirit might be fun to try and get max use out of with full knight boards? Or any of the 1-cost buff spells, really? I'll try a few things next time I play.
Anyway... yeah. Really fun deck to play. Thanks, Panthex. :)
Awesome run with this! I couldn't even hit that big of a streak! But hey, you might be better than this than I am ;). I do plan on removing Noble Sacrifice, honestly need to craft some other cards, as I am still limited on my pool. But going back to your wins, nice to see you were able to go win in both late and mid-game (maybe early, too?). Hope to discuss with you more, thanks for trying out my deck!!
Nice Deck!!! 3 victories in 5 times! not easy but it works and it's funny!
Thank you for sharing your winrate with it! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements on this list!
Thank you for your feedback! I know this deck is not a 100% winrate deck, and I'm sorry you had such a poor win-rate with it. Do you have any suggestions for potential upgrades to it?
Why is Noble Sacrifice in here? Just to sync with Steward?
guess so. it gave me a couple fun plays at 2nd and 3rd turn
It does seem like an off card for an aggro deck, I will check it out again when I play it. Thanks for the feedback! :)
