It's actually just when you play him against Garrosh in general. That makes three legendaries with special entries against certain heroes, Cairne Bloodhoof (also against Garrosh) and Illidan Stormrage (to Malfurion, his brother) being the other two.
I never noticed he has one, will have to watch out for it next time I play.
no what is it????
Not the best legendary, but very close. Combine how good he is with how much fun he can be, easily my favorite card in game.
Against Sludge Belcher or Mechanical Yeti, he's a 5-mana Fire Elemental. Now consider how often he's better than that.
Yeah. Second-best legendary in GvG — Dr. Boom is the best, and even then it's only because Vol'jin is Priest-exclusive.
just got this guy in a pack I'm so happy with him.
Here comes the Voodoo!
well worth the dust to craft the gold version. such an amazing card.
I just crafted Vol'jin and I can tell you that he is absolutely fantastic. Premium removal on top of a huge body. I have zero regrets.
This. Dr. Boom might be the best legendary overall, but Vol'jin is simply insane, especially against Handlock.
Anyone find this card a little strange from a lore view? The Warchief of the horde is following the orders of Anduin Wrynn? The son of King Vairne Wyrnn the leader of the Allience? Honestly i love this card but i really wish it was some other character and not Vol'jin, i was looking foward to making the power of the horde deck as a shaman so there could be Thrall, Vol'jin, Cairne, Sylvanas and eventually Lother'mar..... Not gallywix, i don't care about him, actually forgot he was a horde faction leader until right now. Mechanically this card is great and i love it, priests needed a way to deal with ysera or malygos without just mindcontroling them. But lore wise, i hate it, doesn't fit to me.
Vol'jin be helpin' da Prince of deh Alliance, mon...
I really think Priest will be the strongest class after GvG. They got really strong class cards and the best class legendary by far.
One of the best legendaries of the expansion.
Yes it should. If you silence a minion that has been buffed by crazed alchemist it regains its original health and attack.
voljin + holy smite -> ysera killer + a 6/12 minion, oh my.
I always thought of Vol'Jin more as a shaman. In Warcraft III, didn't he use totems and cast hex?
Yes, same in WoW. In the lore he fits both priest and shaman, but the spells he used in both games all translated to shaman spells, not priest spells.
Damn, priest getting the worst legendaries :(
This makes holy smite a relevant card lategame. Awesome!
