Trivia
- Dreadsteed was original destined for the Naxxramas Adventure as a Neutral Minion but due to an infinite combo with Warsong Commander, it was not included. (Source)
Deathrattle: At the end
of the turn, summon a Dreadsteed.
Crescendo himself summoned this steed, riding it to victory in the Grand Tournament. Wherever he rides, an army of riders ride behind him, supporting the legendary champion.

Yes, or ignoreDreadsteed, and let them fill up their side of the board. No more room for other minions.
A good Dreadlock deck will be able to prevent full board.
Simply suiciding Baron off another minion , silencing it yourself, but more often than not people don't know what to do and Kill Baron for you as a knee jerk reaction.
That double Death Rattle brawl was good practice for this.
Easily one of the most interesting and fun concept of card introduced in TGT. This card has so much potential like it can define new meta for warlock. It even made one of the worst cards in the game Sacrificial Pact viable. I hope sooner or later we will see polished decks built around this awesome card.
P.S. Don't forget this card is made in the memory of fellow gamer and awesome person Crescendo! Who suffered from cancer and was a hearthstone player. You will always stay in this game and in our hearts bro!
Dude, he's alive! :)
He came home last month.
Plenty of fun for the warlock, until the priest plays Mass Dispel..
Cabal Shadow Priest is far worse.
Well the warlocks i've faced tend to play the horse together with Baron Rivendare (along with some trades and stuff), so its practically impossible to catch 'em all with Cabal Shadow Priest. Mass Dispel is cleaner, plus you silence baron at the same time
that's why you carry 2. I had a match up with a priest who did just that I just put in Kel Thuzad and killed all of them (scarifical Pact or run into any minion. Then he mind controlled my Mal'ganis so I Facelessed the Malganis and killed the mind controlled one with the board full of 3/3 steeds. But yes against control/patron I have not figure out a way yet. board o patrons is easy to deal with Twisting Nether, Hellfire or just mal'ganis the steeds and they are gone but 2 Frothings with Warsong is just the last turn in that case the steed enable the entire combo.
If you are fast, and survive the initial play, Faceless Manipulator on Warsong Commander with a Dreadsteed can counter it. Just ping all Grim Patron til the board is full, ping them all to one, then eliminate them one-by-one, time is the only factor.
This is why you keep the second Dreadsteed in your hand. Never go full Dreadsteed. The priest matchup is precisely why I run an Ironbeak Owl in my version.
ikr, mct there Warsong Commander and it's curtains for the warrior
I completely destroyed patron warrior with a Dreadlock today. You all forget what Mal Ghanis (sp?) does for this deck. Immune hero and a board full of 3/3s that won't die.
You can trade this against face hunter minions as much as you want.. and if you can have a knife juggler on the board too, that's even better.
Surprisingly decent card for me so far. Has helped me make a lot of trades and it's hilarious when someone sees it for the first time I tries to kill it only to have it respawn.
The combo with Rivendare is even more hilarious.
This in a deck with Anima Golems, Flesh eating ghouls, knife jugglers, power overwhelming, sac pac, and other cards to abuse the infinite demons is actually pretty good. At the very least a blast to play. would recommend to someone looking for a fun deck that can still win some games.
Undertaker!
Not possible. The most you can get is six Dreadsteeds plus Rivendare/Kel'thuzad. Remove the Rivendare/Kel'thuzad to make room for more minions, and the Dreadsteeds stop multiplying out of control.
But yeah. The Cabal certainly will be an obstacle when playing against Priest.
Unless you have 6 and enemy shaman uses reincarnate on Dreadsteed :P
Makes Sacrificial Pact viable? :o
