This card is surprisingly a solid pick in arena.

Atleast Salty Dog is a Pirate! A«Combine with Ship's Cannon and Southsea Captain and it's... somewhat less dreadful... But this is pure, undiluted, 100% fine shit.

Awesome artwork. This card is bad against control and heavy aggro due to their ability to easily deal with this minion, but if you can get an attack in and make them have to deal 3 or more damage, I'd say that's worth it. Worst case scenario, you're playing 4 mana for them to cough up 3 damage, Best case scenario, you get several attacks in and then they have to deal 3 damage. It's playable. Certainly not the garbage people are making it out to be.

In what deck/meta/universe would you play this over good ol' Chillwind Yeti? or even Lost Tallstrider? almost every class can remove this for 2 or 3 mana:

Druid: Wrath  Shaman: Lightning Bolt  Rogue: Bloodmage Thalnos+Backstab

Mage: Frostbolt Priest: Shadow Word: Death Warlock: Darkbomb (or Shadow Bolt in standard)

Warrior: Bash Paladin: Hammer of Wrath (best case) Hunter: Quick Shot

Every single one: Wolfrider

If it had charge, it would deal with them. As it stands, it deals with the opponent's Huge Toad!

Ah well, at least it looks cool. And I'm looking forward to the voice lines and flavour text - if the summoning sound isn't a full rendition of Greased Lightning, I will be disappointed.

blizz is really tring to make something like upgraded magma rager viable.
