Since Kabal will be the "spell-oriented" faction I wonder if cards like this could make Arcane Giant viable in Handlock Decks if Warlock gets some good spells this expansion. You're still getting a minion on the board while adding a card to your hand and it's a spell so it will reduce the cost of your Arcane Giant which all seems like something good for handlock. Maybe in some Highlander/Handlock Hybrid that uses Mountain Giant, Frost Giant and Arcane Giant. I'm probably too optimistic about it, but I just really hope some Handlock variant will be good this expansion.
Do we know whether this will function similar to Discover in that you'll only have a shot at a class specific potion? I take it it's more like a very narrow, one-sided Spellslinger and even with that said I don't know what people's gripes are with this card; all of the potions revealed so far look pretty freaking strong even on their own with the exception of maybe Pint-Size Potion.
Well most of the potions revealed so far are all situational so IDK yet.
Kind've like a Majordomo Executus except it costs 4 mana
And it's battlecry instead of deathrattle
And the battlecry adds a random card to your hand
Oh boy, another pure hate comment without any constructive look at the card or anything for that matter, like seriously are you just hating for there to be hate.
People mentioning that the card lacks discover have a point. Given that it has the same stat line as a Tomb Spider, the effect might be too weak Some potions are good but there's the chance you end up with an overly situational card where just having played a Chillwind Yeti would have been better for your game plan. Kind of the Jeweled Scarab curse. (And don't get me wrong, I love cards like this and Jeweled Scarab)
THAT Said - Babbling Book says otherwise.
How is this a common and the Kabal Courier is a rare. I'm not talking about viability for arena, I just thought that the higher the ranking, the cooler and more unique ability is given.
Kabal Courier can discover Kabal Chemist hence blizz may think it's better. I think that's why
Considering how situational most of the potions we've seen are, I really wish this card had Discover instead.
Well we havnt seen any warlock ones so far and 2/3 that we have seen are board clears not exactly that situational.
Warlock potion sucks sooo much :/
I'm telling you guys, most of the cards for the Kabal are about getting more resources, which would be incredibly powerful (Well, generally, to be blunt, but.... ) in a Highlander style deck, and Kazakus obviously requires one. I think that's going to be the running theme of the Kabal.
Wait what cards are the potions?
anything with potion in the name.

Now I don't know how strong this will be in Constructed, but in Arena this card is bonkers.
And it's a good thing this is a common card available to mages. Mages needed a buff in Arena for a long time now.
so warrior, paly and huntard are aggro; priest warlock and mage are controlish; and the lotus decks are just bad :D (rogue is too hard to balance, shaman was too strong the last season and druid will get bad cards because they share the theme)
Idk about druid, they got some solid class cards, probably won't even need the Tri class ones
i was looking for a reason against druid :D druid will be fine bc the classic set is pretty good so there isnt a need for broken cards (inno is broken enough :D)
