PLAY STYLE:
early: First buff your C'Thun, try to have a 10/10 C'Thun befor trun 7 for the Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Control as you can with your minion, dont be afraid to use [card]Wild Pyromancer[/card]+[card]Equality[/card] if you are sure your opponent dont have any big minion
mid: Play soon as possible your [card]Mysterious Challenger[/card]. mid game is the time for you to setup your board, so try to play your big deathratlle minion soon as you can. no matter if they get clean N'Zoth, the Corruptor is here
late: It's the funny part, the win is near. go for N'Zoth, the Corruptor only if Tition Fordring is already dead. about C'Thun, dont forget we have a Doomcaller so in theory we have 2 C'Thun. You can use your first C'Thun to clear the enemy board or just to make a pressure. And the second one can be use to finish your opponent
MULLIGAN:
-Always keep: Acolyte of Pain,Keeper of Uldaman, T2 or T3 minion (focus C'thun minion)
-Never keep: sercret, C'Thun,[card]N'Zoth, the Corruptor[/card], Doomcaller
REPLACEMENTS:
-I will start with A Light in the Darkness, I use this card just cause I like it, but feel free to replace it with another card like Argent Protector or Doomsayer or even Brann Bronzebeard
-Solemn Vigil you can try Coldlight Oracle or even Gnomish Inventor but solemn is still better. Another good card to replace Solemn is Divine Favor
-Emperor Thaurissan, Thaurissan is good but you can replace him with Azure Drake or Harrison Jones if you need some draw or with Corrupted Healbot to set a good board
-Doomcaller you can go for Chromaggus or Abomination for board cleaning
-[card]Cairne Bloodhoof[/card] ,It's kind of difficult to replace [card]Cairne Bloodhoof[/card] because it's a realy good card for the N'Zoth part, so if you want to replace him, try to add another deathrattle like Abomination for board cleaning+taunt or [card]Infested Tauren[/card] faster but weaker
-Replacement for any deathrattle card: keep in mind n'zoth cant bypass board limitation, so try to never have more than 6 deathrattle in your deck (only 6 minion can be revive with n'zoth, this other are ineffective and dont trigger their deathrattle)
Works pretty well and still fun!
Couple changes though. Most of these are just preference:
- Repentance
+Sacred Trial
-Solemn Vigil
+Divine Favor
-Huge Toad
+Forbidden Healing
-Doomcaller
+Ragnaros, Lightlord
-Cairne Bloodhoof
+Twilight Summoner (This one was because I don't have Cairne.) :(
how to upload images i am kind a dumb?
I replaced Noble Sacrifice for Sacred Trial cause its anti synergy with Redemption. Works pretty well :)
This deck sounds hilarious but I don't really get why you would build a paladin deck around Reno. Reno makes sense in classes with no healing but paladins already have insane healing tools. You could just increase your consistency by doubling up on pally's best cards (Truesilver, Consecration, Aldor, Equality) and adding in Forbidden Healing and/or another heal.
Also, what's the point of the secrets? You'll rarely have a big enough board for Competitive Spirit to be good, Noble Sacrifice isn't as strong without Avenge, Repentance is a super situational control card and Redemption is wasted by being pulled by MC (much better with Cairne, Sylvanas or Tirion).
I think the whole "mix-'em-all-together" worked well with rogue because rogue needed the Reno healing, has an insane card for buffing C'Thun and has access to 1-3 Shadowstep's per game (depending on what Xaril gives you) to rebuff C'Thun or reuse broken minions (Twinemp, N'Zoth, C'Thun, Reno). However, I think it just weakens pally gameplay. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this though because the deck looks like it's a blast to play.
I made a similar deck, inspired from this (http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/549876-nzoth-cthun-reno-mysterious-challenger-fun)
Struggled around rank 10 against all those Aggro Shamans, but from rank 8 and lower I did pretty well against Control decks.
I feel like I gave this a fair try in ranked (15-11 or so) but kept getting schooled. When the right combos come in, it's great. But when you need to get Tirion and Syl dead before N'Goth is worth playing, that really slows you down. Also, I can wait and wait for the saving card to come (C'thun or Reno) and it's just too late in a lot of game. Good ideas, but in the current meta, I lost more than I won.
Just had a token druid rage quit against this deck. I don't think it helped that he got me to 2 hp when I Reno'd then promptly took control of the board and game. Only played a couple of games with it but it's definitely been a lot of fun.
Playing C'Thun when there is Redemption on board = instant win, it returns your C'Thun at full stats
Tirion + Redemption --> N'zoth = insta concede from opponent after they see two new Tirions on board
This might be the first net deck I ever try. I just like the premise.
You know what is awesome about A Light in the Darkness ? When it gives you an additional C'Thun late game.
yep it saved me
can i use Divine Favor instead of Solemn Vigil?
This deck is hilarious!
I was getting bored with the standard N'Zoth decks, but this is just shines a whole new light on C'Thun/N'Zoth!
I was surprised how much this deck actually works! Your opponent can't deal with C'Thun and N'Zoth at the same time
This deck is actually hilarious. People setting up for cthun, suddenly dealing with WHO AM I!? NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS
this deck is amazing tho i feel that crazed worshipper is a pointless card that dies too easily any other suggestions for replacement im thinking rag lightlord cauz i crafted him for another deck
maybe cult apothecary or faceless to replace crazed worshipper instead
how do I replace Cairne Bloodhoof ?? it is the only card that is missing in my collection.
